>_< i'm very very very very bad with money, not to mention i've got discalcus so i have left shops without the right change >_<

i definitely need help when it comes to money lol i once brought this stuffie he was £40 i thought he was going to be this small thing.....

lol XD it came in a a5 package and then as soon as i opened the package... it grew O_O its half the size of me... i thought £40 was a bit much for a small teddy.... XD

I really want a council of stuffies, we will have meetings where we will discuss/plan the worlds demise... and of course have tea parties minus the tea... so there will just be sweets and cake XD

Yes I'm a strange little XD

I hide my card and my money from myself in a jar that's hard to open. Daddy is in charge of making sure I don't spend money on stuff I don't need and I have to go out with a buddy. My little friend had to pull me away from the Disney store and build a bear last time I went.

It's tough. My little side is basically my impulsive shopper side :3 Best example is when I impulse bought some little rubber duckies only to realize later i thought they were kinda ugly.. I'm trying! telling myself not to overspend doesn't work so now I'm trying writing notes to myself not to spend heaps and tryyyinng to budget properly! little me wants all the things!!!

@Blueb0mshell I've done that too haha. I thought I was getting a little bunny and then I got a giant box. It was one of the funniest things! I still liked it in giant size :p

I was at The Disney Store last Sunday and, oh boy, did it take me forever to choose what to buy. I went in for a medium sized Donald Duck tsum tsum but changed my mind when I saw all the stuff that was on sale. Here's what I ended up getting:

-Minnie Mouse section plate

-Little Mermaid flatware set

-Little Mermaid jar/mug/sippy cup thing

-Little Mermaid bowl (technically a Flounder bowl because Ariel isn't on it)

-Doc McStuffins x-ray camera toy (for toy drive, not for me)

All of those were just $4 each so I couldn't resist, plus I'd been wanting Little stuff to eat with/on so it was perfect timing. I really wanted to get an Ariel tiara, an Ariel wand, and a set of four girly tsum tsums but I knew that I wouldn't get as much use out of those because they're more decorative than practical. The sale lasts until they sell out so I could probably go back to get those things some time soon if I want to.

Overall though, I think I'm rather good with money. Partially because I have to be since my mother is pretty much the worst with it. I wouldn't normally go into a Disney store if they weren't having a sale, I also wouldn't go to the mall in general if I didn't have money to waste. This is why its for the best that I don't have a credit card and that I hate buying things online because otherwise I might not have such good self-control.

Only buying things on sale or with a coupon is, in my opinion, the best plan. A year and a half ago, I saw the most adorable little gummie bear earrings at Claires. I really wanted them but I was already buying a bunch of stuff that I didn't need so I decided not to get them. Then last month, I was at a Toys R Us that has a Claires section inside and they had the earrings on clearance...for 1 dollar! So not only did I get something I'd been wanting for a long time, I saved $13 in the process. That wasn't all. I also got easter earrings, two bunny scrunchies and a cat ear headband all for a $1 each as well.

I don't control my impulses very well, it I want something normally I just buy and think about the consequences later. It's terrible. Once time I was at home alone for a week and I spent about $700 shopping online. I think I may be a recovering shopaholic...

I definitely know how you feel. It is extremely hard to control my little spending urges. I just overspent a lot at comicon on all the cute art and accessories at my love Comic convention *cries*

I think the only advice i can give is stay strong and try to give yourself a cash budget in a small coin purse. the visual sight of how fast your money goes may help you conserve

it so easy for me to spend on necessary things UGH this is my theory on it

my little side is what brings me pleasure, it makes me happy. so when it comes to shopping, OF COURSE im going to spend money on things that make me happy especially for little space.

if little space is happy, then what do i have to complain about at that time? nothin'.

I still struggle but what I have been trying to do is figuring out what makes me just as happy as buying that 30$ stuffie. For example, the sticker machine!

i LOVE stickers so on my way in ill look at the machine and find something I want. Ill think about it while im shopping, get what I need, and on my way out grab a few stickers.

watching my sticker collection grow makes me happy

i have to remind myself  "there will be other stuffies in the future. and theyre gonna be BETTER!"

Keep your credit card frozen in a little baggie in the freezer and only keep cash on hand. It's easier to reign in your spending when you have to see the money you're giving away. Unfreeze the card for online bill pay, etc. It should take a while for the ice to melt.

I am so guilty of this when it comes to my little side. I've spent quite a bit of money just this week on 10 pairs of really cute panties from Aerie and a pink babydoll (lingerie) from VS because of their semi annual sale. Not to mention last week I ordered the cutest pair of sock garters that have huge pink ribbon bows and lace from a shop on etsy. And earlier this month I ordered a Little Mermaid dish set from the Disney Store. I have told myself that I will not spend any more money until I start receiving paychecks from my summer job... but its so hard when little me wants everything. Stay strong guys!

This would be a great idea if I didn't have PayPal :')

Tsk! Naughty Berry, get rid of that at once!  That's just setting yourself up for failure.

One time, I ended up spending over eighty bucks on Disney hair bows that way.

I'm pretty good with money but purely cause a) I live and home and my mum is awesome, b ) any purchase over £100 has to be discussed with daddy and c) my parents taught me well I think. I impulse buy but usually only if it's on sale and something I really want. Like last week I went to Game. As part of half term deals they had skylander figures and vehicles for £4.99! I managed to get two figures and a car I wanted for the price of the car! And I got points.

I try very hard not to spend everything I have. Anything in my wallet is "okay to spend", the bank account money is "leave it alone". I have to really really want something in order to spend. Mostly books, stuffies, coloring books and pretty shiny jewelry are my weakness. I also look at the things I already have and be happy with that.

If I had a Daddy..well...I'd probably make him buy me everything ^-^ haha, but even then there'd have to be a limit.

I think I have a problem on something similar. I have trouble, difficulty in expending. Even when I need something I have trouble in buying. Expend much time searching for the perfect purchase, reading about it, interviewing people about what I'm going to buy ( A thing that I have difficulties to do, but I'm quite doing), and often when I find a good deal, I have trouble making it.

I buy beanie babies every Thursday when I get paid.

Then big me gets mad at daddy for us not having money.

Then I buy more beanie babies.

I guess you could say I have no control over my spending while in little space haha

I noticed I always buy stuff for myself whenever I feel I did something that deserves a reward. Like "oh I did the laundry today I did something good!" And I end up spending money that way without feeling guilty. until i see my bill statement at the end of the month anyway haha.. ;;

I went back to the Disney store today to get a Cheshire Cat tsum tsum pencil pouch for my Prismacolor pencils and they were all sold out :-( But they did have a bunch of new stuff, like back packs and water bottles and other school supply type stuff that I loved. I was such a good girl though, I didn't get anything. I even went into Sweet Factory and only bought candy for other people. (Other people that I know obviously, not other people like strangers, lol.)
