*Little-Girl* Posted May 27, 2016 Report Posted May 27, 2016 So I've only been a little for about eight months and I've realized that I'm a little different from all the other littles out there. I don't have a bunch of pink and frilly dresses or outfits and such. 90% of my clothing is black. (I want to wear more colorful things but 1. I don't think I look good in them and 2. I still live with my parents and they would for sure find it odd if I changed my appearance) I don't watch a lot of Disney, and if I do then it's things like HSM or Camp Rock. I don't listen to I guess... appropriate music.. for a little. I listen to mostly alternative, rock, pop punk, etc. Basically what I'm getting at is, is there any littles like me out there? I still love stuffies, some cartoons, coloring, crafts, and all the good stuff! But sometimes I just feel sort of left out of the community. 3

No one can take that away from you! I was a little, but now fit better as a Middle- but I'm alternative. Lots of black, love love LOVE Metallica, band tshirts, black lace, dark lipstick, etc. You might like Monster High dolls and stuffs- they are so edgy and cute! You are a valid little and their are lots of other different littles. Thats what makes this community so amazing! Our differences both are celebrated and unite us as littles/submissives/caregivers/etc. You are whatever you want to be! 4

And as Lushie so nicely put it, its really a feeling more than anything. Labels are overrated and I don't think one thing has to apply to everyone else! I love trashy rap, piercings, tats, black clothes, ripped jeans, and dead stuff.. but I'm just as little when I'm in little space; admittedly little me loves pink, glitter, frills, and all that jazz too.

People tell me i should be more of a middle but i feel like a little. It all depends what you feel, if you feel like a middle, be a middle, if you feel like a little, be a little. Just dont let labels define you.

It is easy to be lead into believing a little is a tutu loving, pink sporting, adorable angle. It's shockingly easy actually, with tumblr and all. But, it is my firm belief that everyone is very different. Take actual children for example. Every little girl in elementary school does not wear glittery crowns and pastle pink tops with lace socks. Some girls mis-match clothes, do flips off swings, and collect bugs. Some play soccer with the boys or try and bury themselves in the sand. Others are very serious, and quiet. Children are all insanely different, as are littles. We are not carbon copies of anything. ^~^ 1

BunBunBubbles Posted June 9, 2016 Report Posted June 9, 2016 I really don't have a little age either. I just go into a little space I feel confortable with. I find age can be fluid and can change during a session with a partner or friends. I wouldn't get to hung up on it.

Everyone is different, liking things that aren't typical "little" things doesn't mean you're less of a little :~)

Don't worry you are not alone and I don't think that our tastes will make us less a little, because what's the more important is that you feel good doing what you like! I'm not a typical cute babygirl haha! But don't get me wrong... I also have days when I just wear my kigurumi, no makeup, only me, my dark circles and I XD

But I act like a little anyway so it's really just how you want to do things and if it makes you happy
