Hi there! So, my little and I are into pet play, but we were hoping to hear what others do as non-sexual kitten play, or even other forms of pet play, to give us some ideas to toss around and try out. :)

This is going to depend on what kind of animal you prefer. Cats aren't as playful as puppies are, so they wouldn't really fetch, but they could play with yarn. I did know a cat that loved to play fetch, but that's a different story. As a kitty I usually sleep and sun bathe a lot. It's also fun to chase shiny things and animals like lizards. (Of course I don't hurt them) As a wolf I like to play frisbee and sports with daddy or go for walks on a leash.

Things like laying in a big pile of blankets, laying in the sun, eating/drinking from a bowl (milk is popular, as is small treats such as cereal like cocoa puffs in a separate bowl) Laying at your feet, going for walks on a leash through the house, or just snuggling up on the couch while you pet her head. There is also a list of commands that I can give you that you can train  your kitty with... with commands like sit pretty, lay down, and stuff. Rewards for good job, punishments for other. She also may enjoy dressing up in her pet play gear as well!

Also, yarn is always fun and you can always create your own yarn balls together! Or make her one from you with personalized colors- that would mean a lot!

Oooh... and find things that help facilitate her kitten space like watching cute cat videos together or my personal favorite the most cute kitty anime in the world! (non sexual, just cute cat going on adventures... puts me in kitten space right away!)

One word: lasers.

Seriously, who doesn't love p!aying with a laser pointer? Oh yeah, and they're fun for petplay, too.

Some things work fine for petplay with minimum adaptation. Hide-and-seek, toy hunting (warmer... colder...), wrestling and tickle fights, and so on.

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone. They all sound good. :)

Lushie, my little and I watched an episode of that anime, but it was a bit too sad about the kitty being taken away :(

It is sad at first! But, I really encourage you guys to watch on! I promise that the sad part is brief and will soon be happy! I promise! I really really recommend you stick with it- adventures and happy times galore!

I don't want to spoil anything- but it doesn't stay sad for long!
