Mica Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 So I was just wondering how you guys deal with your little/caregiver sides when it comes to social networking sites and and talking to family and friends? I had to make a new Facebook to be able to nurture my little lifestyle (would be cool to have new little/caregiver friends there too but obviously after getting to know people) also my family don't kmow and don't think they would approve. Do you have any tips on how to deal with that? 1
LuvCurveyBaby Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 I've managed to (unknowingly) integrate the two so they can nurture each other. Being known for things like "Daddy Voice", not being afraid of judgement in general and enjoying my childish side makes it obvious: I'm not like most people and it's a good thing for me. Makes me a better person, some would say. While I'm just learning about the community, if I find my place, I'm pretty sure no one will be surprised when I tell them. Maybe you've already done to work to seen as different, liking different things and respected for who you are? 1
Guest LavanderRabbit Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 I have separate accounts on facebook, but my family doesn't use much else. As for my friends they already know and it's their choice to add me or follow me on social media. I have a little account/ Artist account on facebook that I have my Daddy on as well. The one thing I use for both is my instagram and only my sister follows me on that, which I don't mind her knowing, but at the same time she has no idea what it is. 1
Sunny Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 I go by the name Sunny Starlight on every account associated with being little. I haven't made a little Facebook yet, but I'm curious now... The only problem is that I would not like to use my real name, and Facebook has a habit of deleting accounts with no warning if they find out you use a fake name. 1

I use a fake name on my actual account to avoid some people finding me. It happened to a friend that they had to send their ID as proof they were a real person. I think it's bullshit and it has yet to happen to me, but when it does I won't be using facebook anymore. I know it can be avoided if no one reports you.
Big Red Posted May 14, 2016 Report Posted May 14, 2016 I keep my FB pg13 because of family reasons(Mainly my sister would never approve my lifestyle being an extreme feminist) So dont talk about the DDlg aspects at all and keep bondage on a backburner. I have many little friends there, but all are ravers so it goes unnoticed even if they are public. Everything else I keep on the DL till things become more acceptable, and slowly have been. In real life my family only knows of me being poly and nothing more. Most of my friends however know I am a DD due to me caring less about the subject being known.(There was a trend with girls I was with they have met) The easiest way to integrate the worlds is first making sure your little is fine with being semi public with friends. Everyone going to a rave or two has always been a good ice breaker for littles to 'come out' of the little space closet.

At the minute I do not have this problem
Harley_Quinn Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 I'm too scared to make accounts. Like I just did a tumblr for this and I'm all nervous people are going to find it.
