Vig Posted May 11, 2016 Report Posted May 11, 2016 Im new to this community and other things and it seems more of a hindrance than anything? While people are new they still seem sure of theirself, while i am im just shy and it takes me awhile to open up that more dominant side of me. Im just worried that while i have the patience to let someone else grow and help them grow and love them i dont feel there isnsomeone who would do that for me. Ive just always been judged so much for that side of me from past relationships that i dont know what it feels like to be able to embrace that side of me and for someone to stick with me when i fail sometimes. I dont know, i feel like im just rambling at this point, any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest RedDragon Posted May 11, 2016 Report Posted May 11, 2016 Hi Vig. I get your frustration. And I'm sure you're not alone. I think a lot of people take an interest in Ddlg and decide to jump right in without gaining a greater understanding of the dynamic and the role they will be actively taking. If you're not comfortable yet, there is no reason to rush anything. Don't worry about judgement, it will only distract you from gaining clarity. There are all different kinds of people, and surely there is a someone out there with patience who is frustrated the same way you are, hoping to meet someone just like you. Keep learning, which will breed greater confidence, and before you know it, you'll be one step closer to finding someone you feel comfortable with. As the great Dr. Leo Marvin said, "Baby steps." Best of luck.
Vig Posted May 11, 2016 Author Report Posted May 11, 2016 Thank you dragon. That definitely helped to ease everything. I will do my best to learn and try different things and learn as many lessons as i can. Ill take it slow and do my best to gain clarity. 1
