BabygirlsShadow Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 So, my Daddy's birthday is on the 23 of this month, and I'm so stuck on what to get him. I'm making him a scrapbook of all the pictures I have of us together, since we'll have been together for nine months by then. But I'm stuck on what to buy him! He doesn't wear cologne, and he's not a very fashionable Daddy hehe. He loves playing video games, but I'm on a budget that doesn't really allow for anything like that. Can anyone help me? Daddies or littles, doesn't matter, I just need help!
Big Red Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Cheap gifts that can be cherished would be coloring book drawings with stickers, kandi bead bracelets, or wire wrapping with some stone for a necklace or such. The later two might require some practice V Kandi bracelets V These can also be bought of coarse and are rather cheap, but making them can be a bit more personalized :3 http://i.imgur.com/ml3otHn.png Wire wrapping can be used with most copper wire and a gemstone. These can be costly to buy sometimes based on the professionalism. http://i.imgur.com/Lj9LhQu.png Lastly a personal favorite thing I love are coupons for back rub/massages :3 Being able to use them after a long day of work really helps ease the mind. And a more practical gift would be slippers, they honestly don't last more then a few months if used regularly around the house and guys really don't buy their own slippers xD So that's something he might like but wouldn't get himself or have for more then a few months.
Guest LavanderRabbit Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 If he is on steam you can buy him a cheap game on there. Maybe a small figure or something from his favorite game like a tee shirt. Giftcards to his favorite places. A nice outing for just the two of you. Home baked goods or a home cooked meal. A movie night where you both build a big blanket fort and watch movies together with a lot of snacks. You could draw stuff for him and make him cute things too. There are always ideas on Pinterest!
ANewDragon Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 You do not need to buy him anything. The biggest thing is that it comes from the heart. If you really want to buy him something, I would suggest you take him to dinner, or buy the ingredients to make his favorite meal. I think the best gifts are those that are made with love and come from the heart.
Guest RedDragon Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 I think these are all great ideas. I would appreciate anything that thought was put into. Personalized handmade gifts make me melt... And I love the question. It's obvious you adore your Daddy:)
littlelili Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Hello! If your daddy is into videogames you could give her some perler bead sprites. They are so cute and popular among the gamers ^^
LolitasDaddy Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 I highly recommend that you get him something personal, or make him something he can keep with him. I absolutely love that I have things from my precious that I carry with me daily. Whenever I need a pick-me-up I can get them out and find a little comfort. I'm also big on practical things. Something that will be used all the time (knives, multi tools, wallets, coffe mug)
Princess-P Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Lol a motorcycle I used to be big on extravagant gifts, base ball tickets, hockey games...but they aren't budget conscious. I've learned over the years that doing something together that makes memories is the way to go. Check around your local area, look for an art night where you can learn to paint together, or a festival of some sort (around my area we often have comedy or movie festivals that run on donations or very small fees). You never know what little hidden gems are in or around your city until you do a little digging. Not sure about your city but I know "board rooms" are becoming popular. Those are cafe's (some serve alcohol, some don't) that have board games where you play together or meet new people and play with them. There really fun, free to get into, and great for spending time together. Especially if you team up and beat another couple lol.
Guest sirdude77 Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) Thats an excellent point. Because baseball/hockey, any sport is something you can enjoy together but the cost of going to just one game is so absurd these days it takes a person to plan that into a budget. Its a big expense now. Sports can be a good bonding event. Edited May 10, 2016 by sirdude77
SharBear Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 A gift card is always nice. It doesn't have to be a lot of money, maybe 20 or 30 dollars. If he has a favorite store you could get him one from there.
Guest cookie_crumble_princess Posted May 11, 2016 Report Posted May 11, 2016 I don't know if you have a sexual relationship with your daddy or not, but you can treat him to a special night wearing his favorite perfume or scented lotion and, his favorite outfit(s). I think all daddy's love foot rubs, you can start with a foot soak and work all the way to putting lotion on his feet. oh! If you are good at writing you can write a very nice naughty story for your dada, let him read it then offer to fulfill it for him one time whenever he likes. Give him a special word he can use to signal when he wants to play out the scene, so you and he can be prepared to play immediately. sorry, I have touch time on the brain. Hopefully something I said was helpful 1
