littleprincess_01 Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 So I chopped my hair off really short a few months ago and lately I just feel ....ugly. Like really ugly. I look at old pics and I used to be so cute with my hair and now I just feel like I look gross. I really just wanna feel cute again! My hair is to short for extensions right now so I need some ideas. So I thought I'd reach out here and ask What makes you feel cute/pretty?
Sunny Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Lots of things! Most of all, when my Daddy tells me so. I'd never admit it out loud, but even if I'm feeling really gross, having my Daddy tell me I look cute or pretty makes me actually feel that way just a tiny bit. Here's some other things I do sometimes to feel pretty!~ - Paint my nails! You can try all sorts of nice designs and glitters, and then every time you see your hands while you're doing something it will make you feel extra lovely. For some extra niceness, try pushing back your cuticles and moisturizing your nails with hand/nail cream.- Buy some new things! I'm kinda poor, but I love to get little hair clips or earrings or even a new cheap dress. It gives you the same feeling as a new haircut usually does when you wear it for the first time.- Put on some makeup! Try out different styles you've never tried before, or use some bold colours on your lips or eyes.- Have a really nice bath with lots of bubbles! Pampering yourself can really make you feel better about yourself.- Decorate/dye your hair! Clips and bows can make any style of hair look cute.- SELFIES. I know this is kind of cliche (and probably sounds very vain), but dress yourself up and then take lots of pictures. Find pictures you love and post them places, or look at them sometimes, and remind yourself that you are pretty, because you are! <3 1
Guest MachoPrincess Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) Sunny is right, hair clippys and bows always make everyone look super cute! You should definitely try some of those I'm sure you're already amazingly adorable on your own, but they'll make you extra adorable! Edited April 29, 2016 by MachoPrincess
littlelili Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) Hi littleprincess First of all I bet you look really cute with short hair. But I am really insecure and I also feel gross most of the time so I really understand you haha. I think you should embrace your new look, and add a cute style to it. How about cute hairpins and bows? Even better if they match your outfit!!! You can find beautiful hair accessories at kids and babies clothing stores! I have read that wearing beautiful and cute underwear can make a girl feel beautiful and cute on the outside even when no one can see what she is wearing below haha! Take good care of your skin, it will glow and you won't need your long hair back! Take care, hugs!! Edited April 29, 2016 by littlelili
sushishui Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 I just want to say that girls with short hair can be really cute.
Guest Little Sweetie Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 I'm sure you are cute even with short hair. Hair clips are really cute, I also feel cute when I'm wearing my Minnie Mouse jammies, polish my finger nails and toes with glitter nail polish, and put my stuffed animals all up on my bed, and selfies with my kitties.
Guest missamylittle Posted May 1, 2016 Report Posted May 1, 2016 I feel cute when my skin is clear and when my eyebrows are done. I also feel cute when I'm wearing bracelets and when my nails are painted a fun color, like purple or turquoise or pink!
Guest cookie_crumble_princess Posted May 1, 2016 Report Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) When I want to feel cute I do like to take showers! I take shower time to cleanse my mind of negative thoughts and remind myself it's a new day. It also helps to clean your face like missamy likes. Self affirmations - think positively of yourself. If you can't say you're completely cute focus on other positives about yourself. I have pretty eyes, I love the shape of my lips...after a week move on to something else positive about yourself and add that to your list. Earrings that dangle make me happy. The shape and size don't, as long as I can feel them moving when I turn my head. They accentuate the beauty of a person's face, neck and hair, imo. I wear clothes that make me feel happy. Don't get hung up on how other people will perceive you. Human nature is weird. People pick up more on confidence and strong character. So, I don't worry if anyone else will like it. It makes me happy that's why it is mine, I can and will enjoy it They will soon come around to my way of thinking or not. It isn't my problem. I wear a lot of princess clothing out, long dresses with flowing sleeves, glittery accessories and little sparkly jewels on my clothes. I get more compliments than not. When I'm at home I toss on legging or a sweater dress and my thigh high socks or a mini skirt. Whatever I feel in the mood of wearing. Accepting yourself makes you beautiful! I don't know how short you cut your hair, but you may be able to get away with chalk dying your hair, or just get Hot Huez. You can find this product at your local drug store or Walmart? Here is a link and review. I love Bunni!!! Edited May 1, 2016 by baby_squirrel 1
BunBunBubbles Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 My dolls and plush make me feel cute. I always sneak one in my bag so its there for me. I love wearing oversized sweater, preferably one my Mommy or Daddy wears. Other than that I don't know.
