Did the ship set sail without us?

I cannot Agree with Mermaid and her Daddy more! Life happens when you stop making plans! I had zero interest in anything that even resembled a relationship when I met my Daddy. We ran into each other through a work thing (He worked for a food bank and I was an Addictions Outreach worker taking a client to said food bank)  - He was wearing a Transformers hat... I commented because I am a nerd and like Transformers. That's how all this started. We both just got out of a crappy relationships - We decided to hang out on Valentines Day and do a total Anti V day/Love sucks night at the local Metal bar.... We just hit it off that well, The chemistry was that strong.... He is also a bit older than me (im in 31, hes in his 40's). We have been together ever since and I love him more than words. I worship him - He is everything to me. EVERYTHING. Your princess is out there.. She's just waiting to bump into you. Go out, Live your life... Don't look for her. She needs to find you!!

I love all the success stories from people as it gives me hope too, but I want to circle back to the original question, as I see it, which is more about getting past the age number when meeting someone online. Just from my own experience, age seems less of a barrier when meeting someone in real life as they don't know your actual age and go off how they feel around you. But when meeting online, seems like people place more importance on age. Are we truly limited to just those we meet in real life? Girls tend to run off how they feel around a guy. Maybe in person is the only way to interest someone because if they like him, they'll figure out age doesn't matter, where as online, they won't even talk to him???

I don't fall into that category. Even if it's online or in person... I do not do not do not judge based on ages. I'm all for freedom of choice. If you want a girl, guy, black, white, purple, striped, 60, 29, 21, 35... You know it's all equal. The base, the foundations of a person is where I make my judgment and also in how someone treats me and behaves around me. I either don't get into someone in that way or just feel like friends. Don't count us all out so easily!
