New and In Need of Some Help

I'm very very new to the idea of this whole thing. I first stumbled across it while on a social media site and it struck a chord. I've always been a very childlike person, young at heart. And I tend to drift towards, generally, people who take care of me. My best friends are people who do this for me often and I fall easily into the role of being taken care of. Therefore, this whole idea seemed appealing to me. However, on the social media site it seemed to be mostly sexual. I'm just very confused and still trying to figure out if this is what I want but there's not a whole lot of information out there that helps me personally. I know this is a little vague but I just need some help and guidance.

Thank you.

It doesnt always have to be sexual at all, my little and i have a non-sexual relationship. I help guide her and support her offering anything she needs to feel loved and spoiled. In return she loves me back and that is all i really need. There are several dynamics of course and each ddlg relationship is its own entity, like a snowflake. Just be careful because there are some Fake Daddys out there that are just predators. The most important thing i did was research and ask advice in here and that helped me so much. Good luck :D

I agree with TattooedDaddy entirely. DDLG is about a caregiver and little relationship. Kink and sexuality is not central to the experience. Though I'm relatively new to the dynamic myself, I'm discovering that it's suiting what me and my kitten like, as opposed to matching any one person's description or ideals :)

Well actually Beared Daddy I think a lot of people would disagree with that statement; certainly it doesnt have to be sexual for some people  but as Rosie mentioned it is a varied and complex dynamic with many variations
