I dont know what to do

Im sorry if this is in the wrong thread, i wasnt sure where to put this. Normally I wouldnt share something like this, vut i dont have friends who wuld be helpful with advice.

So recently I had finally found a Daddy for me and he's absolutely wonderful! Hes super patient and is great with helping me get into my littlespace. Which is hard to do normally but with him i just go straight into it! But anyways onto my problem.

I was skyping a friend of mine earlier today and we got to the topic of some news that had happened in her town which she found really concerning. A man in town had been arrested for sexually assaulting a younger girl. But while thats bad and really fudged up, she told me the man looked like my daddy! So of course im very concerned and slightly confused. Because no way it could be My daddy! My daddy is super good and hares people who do that stuff too! So she sends me the link and sure ebough, theres my daddy's face right there staring back at me on my laptop screen!

I dont know how to move on from this point. Ive already had a a litle bit of a meltdown from this but im just kind of numb now. Like what do i do now? Do i just mive on with my life and try and find a new daddy? Do i just avoid daddys from now on? I really dont know know what to do and any advice would be really really appreciated!

You have to move on because your "Daddy" committed a terrible crime. I'm sorry that you were in contact with someone like this but not all people are terrible. Although it may be hard to trust someone again, you will find someone that is right for you.

I'm am so sorry. The best route is normally the hardest route.

As a former detective and now a teacher, I offer the only advise that I can.

That is to move on. You may never forget, but you will learn from this experience and become stronger for it. But please rest assured not all Daddys are like that.

Good luck

I'm really sorry that must have been terrible. But yes, get the hell away from him. What advice would you give someone asking the same question? You need to step aside from your emotions and see this for what it is. He is a monster.

You do move on, yes. What he did is horrible. However, I wouldn't avoid daddies. Not all daddies are like that, as everyone else has already said. You'll find someone who is right for you.

I have the same answer as all the rest, but in a slightly different form.

While it is true that not all 'daddys' are like that, it is also important to remember that there does exist evil in this world.

Watch any true crime show and you will see that evil exists, although it may be hard or impossible to recognize, at the time.

Life is a tangled web that we weave.  It takes all you got, sometimes, just to get through.

I am sure everyone here is pulling for you.  Good luck.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Obviously we don't know the whole story. Your Daddy could have just been in a bad situation but on the other hand he could just be a manipulator. Just as there ARE good people in the world there are also wolves that hide in sheeps' clothes. Finding that you've fallen for the wolf is hard but it gets easier every day though. Make sure you ask the hard questions, get to know the person you're with, and do your best to learn from previous mistakes but don't dwell on them.

The best advice you can get has already been listed and that's to move on but I want to give you one other piece of advice, take all the time you need to get over this and don't be afraid to reach out if you need help.

Its truly terrible when people we care about turn out to be something we never thought they could be.

Take your time, do what feels right to you, and definitely put as much space between you and this guy as you can.
