How did you know you liked some things?

I'm new (on the forum but also I'm still learning ) and there's a question that's been bugging me lately...

For example for pacifiers, did you know straight away that you wanted to have one or did you go buy one and tried out?

I always sucked my thumb as a kid, never had a paci, but with my palate and jaws surgery, my "mouth" changed and it is uncomfortable to suck my thumb...

So I'm kinda curious to buy myself a paci to try it out...

The next sad thing being that since I'm still single, I'm learning to get into little space and about little activities on my own.

So yep, I'm looking for advice, I still have lots to learn so I can't wait to read you, little or daddies/mommies/CG, whoever wants to help me on my journey is welcome <3

The easiest way to know is to try. My interests have evolved and changed quite a bit, so try to keep an open mind about yourself.

 

I think there are many ideas on the forum about being in little space alone, such as coloring, hanging in the chat, wearing cute clothes,playing games, and crafting. I'm sure there are tons of other ideas as well.

When Daddy and I started out in this, I had no interest in Paci's. I actually identified as more of a middle. As we progressed and learned, interests evolved and changed and I actually regressed a little further. We discussed Paci's and I went to get my first one. I was super excited to go Paci shopping, like ridiculously excited. It got me through my work day that morning/afternoon on the best high that I had felt for a while. 

 

If you're curious about it, try it out! I would recommend to learn about paci's though, like brands/nipple sizes/latex vs. silicone. There's lots of info here about them. 

 

Being in little space alone....

 

Daddy mentioned most of them, there's also lots of apps and games on the google play store, apple too I assume (like My Little Pony <3)

Personally I think being open minded and seeking out things that made me curious had to do with a lot of the things and kinks that I like. You never really know until you do some research and or experience it first hand. My suggestion is to never rush into anything though. Take your time with things. You are the final decision maker of what you do and don't like.

I got a paci cause daddy said he couldn't keep having me fall asleep with his thumb in my mouth cause it wasn't comfy for him. And I found out I liked it a lot :3 give it a try who knows

You won't ever know you like something until you try it. I bought a paci to see if it would soothe me to sleep and it did! I think it's a great thing to be curious

One thing that always helps me is talking with someone passionate or at least really accepting of it. Some things seem really weird and intimidating at the beginning, especially more "taboo" topics. So what I personally would do is look up information, talk to someone involved with the thing I'm interested in and then just try it. The best way to find out if you like something you're curious about is to simply try it with an open mind. (:

Though I'm still gonna try to get one, I just want to find a cute one that would match me.
