I usually wake up every morning and write down the things that I'm grateful for and it helps put my life into perspective when I'm feeling down.. so I thought I'd create a thread where we can all share what we're grateful for.

I'm grateful for:

  • My Daddy
  • This forum
  • My family
  • Being able to wake up in the morning
  • Water
  • ALL THE YUMMY FOOD

My health. I'm type one diabetic and it can cause issues, but I've worked hard over the last several years to get as fit and healthy as possible. Feel younger with more energy in my forties than I did in my twenties lol.

My children. It's not easy. Going through some real problems right now but I love them with all my heart and nothing comes before them.

My relationship with my daddy. He's amazing. Truly. He is my soulmate. There are genuinely no words powerful enough to describe my feelings for him. To me he is perfection on every level. Just....Oh my god wow.

My sense of humour. I reckon those people I have not yet killed also appreciate that, hehe.

My determination. I refuse to give up on things that matter. I work damned hard to make things right.

My parents. They are both gone now but they both taught me many things and helped to shape me into the person I am today. They made mistakes as we all do of course, but I cherish the memories and the lessons.

My family. Those are the people that have built me as an individual and whom I have to thank for being at least half decent. I know my family will always support me and provide unconditional love.

My friends. Both online and off. They make my day brighter, they push me to better myself and I can always count on them for an honest opinion. Plus it's always nice knowing that they love you because they've simply chosen to and genuinely like the person you are.

My health and my life. I've been blessed with this life and I try not to forget it ever.

Being financially supported. I have food, I have a roof over my head, a comfy bed, fresh water and all the stuffies I need. Again, I'm incredibly lucky.

All the places where I feel I belong.  I don't even know where to start with this one. I'm a quirky person, I feel like an outcast in most social situations. I don't show it, but it's just this constant discomfort. I'm just waiting for it to be over so I can go home and feel safe and calm. So... I'm grateful for all those places (mental ones included) that I feel like home in.

The people I've loved. I'm glad I've met someone that has thought me not only how to love others, but also how to love myself.

I have a lot more things I'm grateful for. My education, my sarcastic sense of humour, my pets, the teachers I've had, the hobbies that have always kept my mind and hands busy when I needed it most, the people that have forgiven me for my mistakes, every gift I've received (even if I didn't like the gift itself) and so on.

End ramble here. xD

  1. Daddy/Master.  He's helped me become more confident, more sure of myself. He's shown me trust and taught me that He will never break it. He's given me such love, spoiled me rotten with that and attention, because He knew I've never had that before. He's never too busy for me, always is there to reassure me or rock me to sleep when I'm upset. He's always there; He's my soulmate and every single day, I am thankful for His hand in mine, for my place at His side.

  2. My family.  My mother, my step father and my brother. My mother for raising me, with grace, wisdom and a shit ton of patience. My step father for showing me not all men are going to hurt you, ignore you and for just being what I'd never had before; a dad.  And my dear brother, without whom my life would have taken a completely different turn, with a much sadder, less happy ending.  He's changed my life, just by all of the shit he's helped me through. I could never be where I am now if it wasn't for him.  I love these people, I love my family and I will do everything in my power to protect and love them with everything I am, with everything they have taught and given me.

  3. My friends.  They have all brought more laughter to my life than I could've ever planned. They make every day so, so much better and I am thankful for their loving hands for supporting me and holding me up through the hardships I've endured and for their loving hearts, for always being there and for always, always making time for me no matter if it's 3 AM to 10 PM.  I love each and every one of them and their unique hearts. Each of them is a special treasure.

  4.  Remi.  She is as important to me as my Master/Daddy.  She has been through so much with me and even though even we fight, she's still by my side. She's been the best friend I could've ever asked for. She's loved me endlessly, tirelessly.  She's helped me through so much, she doesn't even know.  She kept me going when I wanted to give up and made my days brighter when they were their darkest.

  5.  Having a roof over my head and not having to worry about food.  I thank the Lord every day for running water, hot and cold. For the food in my stomach and for the warmth of my home.

I am thankful, so utterly thankful for every single thing I have..  Not a day goes by that I don't remember it and nor will it ever. I am blessed, I really, really am.

I am grateful for:

  • My family. I have the most supportive, loving and encouraging family that anyone can ask for. Words cannot justify how deeply I love them.
  • Being alive. No explanation needed there, right? :)
  • My job. In this economy, I feel that anyone who is employed and able to meet one's financial needs is fortunate. Plus, I really do enjoy my job and coworkers.
  • My friends. They are very understanding, loyal and always support me through any situation I'm going through; good or bad. They also laugh at my corny jokes, even when they aren't funny.
  • Necessities. I have a nice place, food, transportation, clothing, all the things that are essential in day-to-day life.
  • The DD/lg community. Thanks to this site and wonderful members, I have the opportunity to find that special babygirl my heart desires.
  • Coffee. It's my fuel!

I am grateful for being able to get up out of bed in the morning and feel healthy and alive. I love to go down stairs and drink a pint of clean running water. I love how I can have hot tea or coffee throughout the day.

I'm happy if I'm healthy.

I love how I am blessed to have and live with my non human family who give me so much love. Their gentle purrs comfort me.

I'm grateful that I have a body that can feel such wonderful things because it makes up for all the bad stuff that happens to me.

I'm grateful to breathe fresh air and go to a place a night to sleep that is clean and comfortable and quiet.

I am in love with goodness and for this I am grateful but spite me and that love can turn to dislike but never hate as I am also grateful for all the people who come into my life.

This is a beautiful thread. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
