My Daddy is kinda new at all of this. I need ideas (either diy or bought) for Valentines Day.

What do you get your Cg?

In my opinion handmade is better. But if you're not crafty, store bought is fine. I saw a super cute thing in the store and thought to myself that I could make one just like it for my Daddy! Since he is on this forum I can't say exactly what it is, but I will say it involves canvas, paint, and a body part.

Other ideas can be those foam art pieces, there's lots of cute stuff out for valentine's day, a sticker collage, a big home made valentine's day card, a photo collage in the shape of a heart, maybe make some "good for one _____" coupons...like a movie night, cup of cocoa, snuggle time with stuffies, bath, anything fun! There's lots of ideas available.

You could also go "big" and get gift cards for favorite things, make dinner together, do a random chore for them, it just depends what they like.

Chocolates or anything sweet (if he likes sweet things) is nice OR make your own? Its really easy to hand-make chocolate truffles and you can add his favorite flavorings and coat them in all kinds of different things like nuts, cocoa, coconut, sprinkles, shaved chocolate or pipe on some different coloured patterns. You could also decorate your own box to put them in or just wrap them in cellophane and tie a pretty ribbon around them. Even chocolate coated strawberries are easy to do!

Have you thought about getting something engraved maybe? That would be special and timeless.

For Master, I'm going to make him a really cute Valentines day card (he loves when I make stuff for him) and make him a carrot heart shaped cake. I'm going to try my hand at decorating it with red dyed whipped cream, too!  Or maybe I'll just stick with the buttercream frosting and then decorate it with his favorite candies..

I was also thinking of maybe making his own valentines day box and putting lots of his favorite stuff in it. He doesn't care too much for chocolate, but he likes sour stuff, gummy stuff, taffy, peanuts and rice krispy treats! I'm also going to make him a really nice dinner and decorate the house. ;3
