MommyDom41 Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 Hello Sunshines! So as you know I have been going back forth to the doctors, giving so much blood and CT scans along with so many other things. This Wednesday I went to the doctor and they sat down which is never a good thing lol And told me it looks like my test results all came back positive for MS (multiple sclerosis) Which would entail why I have been so tired, and have headaches so many days. Was I terrified when I got the news? Yes, because Ms back in the day was a death sentence. Now there's treatment and you can actually live a fulfilled and happy life. I wanted to be honest on here because I know that could be a deal-breaker for a lot of people that still want to be my friends or see me as a potential Mommy. And honestly that's okay I know that it can be a lot and I want to be honest. I didn't want to hide anything from anyone. I know I'm going to be okay I know I'm still going to have a happy full life. I've actually talked to many people who have MS and they are in their 70s some are in their 60s even one lady was so sweet she was 55 and she actually gave me some pointers. It took a lot of pressure off, because I was so scared I was looking down the barrel in my life would be over in weeks. I was terrified that this was the end, and then all I can think about was my daughter. It was a lot to take in, but now after doing some research and talking to some amazing people, I know that's not the case. So you all have no idea how much I needed you all. So thank you, thank you for your kindness and thank you for being there for me. Thank you all for standing by me and cheering me on as I go through this journey. You all have no idea all your encouraging words have helped lift me up. So to anyone battling anything I don't care if it's any type of mental health, illnesses, or even a home life situation. You Are not alone, we are warriors, we are brave, and we will overcome this. Thank you all for being my friends and my family. Until we meet again remember, you matter, you are loved, and you are worthy of being loved ❤️💖 6 1 1

WizardofOSS Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 @MommyDom41 There's comfort in knowing. As you said, you'll still live a full life. No-one knows how long they will truly live anyway, so many dangers out there! All doctors can give you is a probablity or statistics..... I like What Mark Twain said... "There's Liars, there's Damn Liars and then there's Statistics!!" You never know. Live each day the best you can, for none of us truly know how many we have. We all love you!! Ride that shark and give it a hug!! 1
MommyDom41 Posted March 20 Author Report Posted March 20 @WizardofOSS thank you for your kind words and Mark Twain is an amazing writer

DaddyABQ Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 I'm sorry you had that diagnosis, but on the other hand, I'm glad that you at least know now. It's so helpful to be able to put a label on something so that you can face it head on.
