Going to little events for the first time

Hi everyone sorry if this is  in the wrong place I wasn't sure where to put it. Yesterday I saw that their is a picnic for littles and care givers near me on Sunday at a park. I fell like I want to go but I'm also worried about going alone and I don't have any IRL friends near me that are into this stuff. Has anyone ever gone to one alone without knowing anyone and how did you find it? I just want to make friends and it seems like a fun idea, I tried to message to organizers but they haven't gotten back to me yet so I'm not sure if I should wait till a different one happens or go alone and if I have it just leave.

A lot of caregiver/little events are fairly welcoming. Personally my Daddy and I don't tend to go as we've had too many experiences where single littles try to get my Daddy to provide them care, which really crosses a line, and I don't have any interest in going alone as my little time is something I want to always be sharing with my Daddy.

When we have gone together we've seen plenty of littles and they've always seemed to enjoy themselves.

yeah i definitly wouldn't be trying to get people to care for me that's just not cool at all big red flag if someone is doing that
