karan Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Hi all, Do you ever feel lost and lonely? or like nothing is going your way?, My whole week has gone like that, and I can't even explain why. Anyway I guess this is my little rant of the first day of the week and I am sorry I just felt like I needed to say something before I go crazy. These things happen 🤷♂️ But I also think that because something happens that is not going the way we want, we get frustrated and focus on it, thus seeing more things not going our way... That may create a self-fulfilling prophecy, the best thing I can advise you (and anyone) is to focus on the good things that happen, the things that make you happy, and actively seeking out these things. It can be something small like playing a game, watching something funny on YouTube that makes you smile or anything. As long as it will give you a good feeling. Perhaps that may be able to turn it all around or at least I hope it will for you 1

It's completely valid to feel frustrated when things aren't going your way, even if you can't quite pinpoint the reason. Sometimes, just acknowledging those feelings and expressing them can help. Thank you, that was a heart warming response, I am a good listener, but I guess sometimes good listeners need an ear to listen to them as well so I appreciate the offer I hope your week is going well atleast :)...

Sometimes, in those quiet moments when there's nothing else to occupy one's mind, those nasty little gremlins can creep in and start messing with your mind. When that happens to me, I try to take stock of why. It's frequently that I haven't eaten enough recently, but it can also be that I'm bored, that I need a change of scenery, or that I'm actually lost and lonely. Either way, the only way to make things better is to shake up your routine, to find ways to improve yourself and to reshuffle your brain a little. Also, make sure you eat enough and get enough water. Sometimes, though, it just happens, and you have to push your way through until you're able to shake out the sillies and realize that all we really need is ourselves, and once we learn to love and be happy with who we are, everything else is additive. 1
