Littlejewel Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 Hi friends, I feel like this cold/flu season has been super rough and we’ve been sick so much. I woke up this morning with a fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, stuffy nose, and just feel super tired and yucky. I’m a big whiny baby when I’m sick. I drank some tea with honey and lemon, now I’m cuddling in bed and will order Pho later. What is something you do/your caregiver does/you do for your little when sickness hits that helps make it a little less miserable? 1 1
DaddyCool Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 What I do for my part as a Daddy is to cuddle, try to make her laugh or play with her. I advise when I have the knowledge also in relation to care, to help her. I am there to listen, without judgment, and I also like to read her stories that she likes.
Belfastnerd Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 Home made Irish chicken soup - and that is not an euphemism btw 1
Little kaiya Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 My Daddy bundles me up in blankets, puts a stuffy in my arms and cuddles me on his chest 💖💓💗💕
PrincessM_13 Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 I’ve been sick with the stomach bug since Thursday night and what helps is rest, trying to eat small amounts of food and having my daddy on the phone with me all day so I don’t feel alone 1
little locket Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 Last time I had bad cold my Daddy brought blankets down to living room, tucked me into the big chair and put on cartoons for me (scooby doo). He made me a massive drink of fruit juice then at lunch we had soup with grilled cheese. 😋 it was amazing coz I never had anyone take care of me like that before when I was ill. 1
