alex. Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Hey everyone! I recently watched Baby Girl (2024), and while I loved the premise, I felt like the execution fell short. The script wasn’t well-developed, the chemistry felt weak, and the erotic scenes weren’t satisfying. The whole “puppy play” aspect also felt more humiliating than appealing. I’m looking for a film with a similar dynamic, whether it’s a younger dominant male with an older submissive female or an older dominant male with a younger submissive male, but done well. Something with a compelling story, strong character development, and actual chemistry. Not something cheap or trashy like 365 Days or overly manipulative like Fifty Shades of Grey. I want something that feels sensual, intense, and deeply good. If you have any recommendations for films that explore these dynamics in a way that’s actually worth watching, I’d love to hear them! Thanks in advance!
คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago I know it's not canonically DDLG/BDSM themed, but there are fan interpretations of this for Good Omens. The series leaves a lot of room for various interpretations and the fandom has certainly not run out of ideas. Or maybe I'm just bias and want to mention my favorite romcom Netflix series, idk. 1

คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago They're actually canonically in love and kinda canonically just besties at the same time. They're in love in the TV series, but it's a massive slow burn. My eyebrows still haven't fully grown back from being singed at the end of season 2, while I became a child of divorce. Not trying to give spoilers, but a slow burn is always full of ups and downs. In the books however, it's presented as a relationship that could be read as nothing more than just a bromance. But it is heavily canonically implied that they're more than just friends, even in the book. It's just not stated directly that they're in love and a couple. They're technically not gay as they're genderless celestial entities, but they are heavily posed as gay/queer while in human form. I wouldn't necessarily consider GO like true yaoi, but if you like yaoi, I really think you'd like this. They're old! One's extra cranky, the other's seriously naive, but both are super adorable. I don't know much about squid game, so I won't comment on that.

Helpp 😭😭🤘🏻 is it full of angst? :"") have you ever watched Interview With The Vampire? Omg ok that is a neeeeeded ship i guess 🥺🤘🏻
คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) You'll understand if you either watch the series or look at the memes. I suggest watching first and then the memes though, lol. Angst you ask? Sort of. While this is not technically the main plot, because one is a demon and the other is an angel, they're constantly pulled away from each other. Causing extra angsty tension between them. It's actually very frustrating, lol. I have seen Interview, yes, but it's been years so I'm a bit rusty with lore. Still though, I wouldn't compare GO too much with Interview, but if you're mentioning Interview, now I absolutely think you'll love GO! And also, since you're mentioning vampires, GO is nothing like Twilight. Not that I've seen it, but from what I do know of it, nothing at all compares. Edited 5 hours ago by คℓ𝐞メเᏰααα .ᐟ
