Guest xx-Bear-xx Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 Grateful for my Daddy who always shows up for me
Sicarie Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 I am grateful for coffee. With out it, my morning would start a lot slower. 😪🤭
Little kaiya Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 This may sound odd but I'm grateful for every day I get "above ground". Even with chronic pain, a very stressful job and a LOT of pressure in my work and personal lives, I'm still grateful for every new day. I get the chance to learn, help, fight and most of all just . . . Be. It doesn't mean the day is always easy or even fun BUT each and every day does mean I'm still here and there's something new to embrace. 1 1
Diorama Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 I am grateful for spring! Sun is shining again. I can go and walk out in the sun again! Spring hikes are the best in general. The thin air and the first rays of sun just make life so vibrant again. I was a bit... off it during winter. 1 1 1

Baby Manda Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 It's been awhile, so it's time to verbalize somethings I'm thankful for again! Helps me stay focused. I am thankful for my curly hair! It fits my personality well and helps me remember life gets messy, but with a little patience, love, and kindness, all will be better in a few days.🥰 I am thankful I can wear comfortable clothes to work. It would be difficult to teach 4 year olds in dress clothes! I am thankful I have a printer at home. I can print all the coloring pages I want quickly and easily, and make more when it doesn't turn out the way I want! I am thankful for this forum! I would be so lost without all of you❤️ I have found a place to feel welcome. Thank you. 1
BabyChaos Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 It's not much .. but I am grateful for a good night's sleep last night. Something i don't get very often. Coffee as without it i am a huge grump, and this Forum. For the friends I have met here and the admin for making it a safe space for all of us to just be us. For a non-judgemental space to be me. 2 1

Sleep is sooo important and so is the encouragement of others. 1

Baby Manda Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 I am thankful for music! It can turn my day around so fast! Today it was the capybara song! Who knows what's next?! 🎵❤️🥰 1
Warmandfuzzy Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 Grateful for breath, one at a time, filling my lungs and circulating oxygen through my body. Thankful for the symphony of birds outside my window. Happy to be alive and experience another day. Laughing, loving, being 3
BabyChaos Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 I'm Grateful for doctors who take the time to listen and actually care about their patients and not try to rush through as many as they can in a day. Doctors who look at things as a whole and really try to figure out what is wrong, not just fix little symptoms with medication. 1
MissAnna Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 I'm grateful I'm not alone anymore, and that I have wonderful friends and family like you in my life 💓 1
Little kaiya Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 I'm grateful for my Wife and my Daddy. They are both incredibly living, supportive and just all around wonderful people. Our home is a beautiful reflection of the three of us and all our different interests. Having them both in my life helps me feel always loved and seen for who I truly am as a person 💗💓💕 1
Baby Manda Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 I am grateful that when I used my yelling voice today, I was told it was not in fact a yell, only a raised voice. My greatest fear is to hurt someone unintentionally and I yelled to be heard in my classroom, but the staff present said it sounded like "you were just raising your voice". I'm so thankful I have done the work to be calm 97% of the time. It hurts when no one listens to me, but that can best be solved with assertiveness, not anger.
Baby Manda Posted April 12 Report Posted April 12 Refocus! I am grateful for a very happy 2 hour journey through a very small fricery store this morning! I talked to the nicest strangers and laughed the whole way! It took forever to shop, but I was in no hurry. The sun was out, it was a beautiful day, my kid was at school, I was off work, I forgot my ADHD meds and couldn't remember what I was saying, but I was super happy! I even remember most of the groceries we needed! The cold foods all fit in the fridge or freezer, and I had time to take my meds (yes I picked them up) and eat lunch before my daughter got home! It was a super happy morning! I'm so thankful I live in a community that is different. Most of the people I talked to were moms or grandmas out shopping like me. We all needed a few familiar faces to say hi and feel a sense of belonging for a bit this morning. I've lived in other communities and I know this isn't "typical", but it is here. I recognize it is different and I appreciate it.
