MommyDom41 Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 To everyone out there, rather you are new or experienced welcome. I wanted to make a topic about knowing that you matter. In this life style there are so many of us that hide who we actually are, fearing others will judge us or never treat us the same if they knew who we truly were. And here we can be ourselves without feeling judged or being told we aren't normal or worthy of being loved. So I want to tell you that no matter if you are a Little, Sub, Mommy, Daddy, or Dom that you matter. You aren't weird, there isn't anything wrong with you and you are perfect just the way you are. Don't let other negative people pull you down. You are amazing just as you are, never forget how important you are. Remember you matter and you are so loved ๐๐ 3 1
Dangerously_Well Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 This is such a beautiful and important reminder! Thank you for posting this. It's so true that many of us in the D/lg community have felt the need to hide a part of ourselves, fearing judgment or rejection. But here, in this space, we can truly be ourselves, and that's something to celebrate. You're absolutely right โ whether you're a Little, Sub, Mommy, Daddy, Dom, or exploring any other role within the dynamic, you do matter. You are worthy of love, acceptance, and belonging. There's nothing "wrong" with you for embracing this side of yourself. It's a part of what makes you uniquely you, and that's something to cherish. It's so easy to get caught up in negative self-talk or let the opinions of others bring us down. But as you so eloquently put it, we are all amazing just as we are. We need to remember our worth and lift each other up. Thank you for this beautiful reminder that we are all important and loved. ๐๐ 1
Liamo Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 People who matter really do not care what you are, and people who care do not matter.ย 1 1

karan Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 As a switch leaning Daddy, I want to let everyone know that you matter, just because you have a side of you that a lot of people may not know doesn't mean you are weird. Please do not feel like you are unwanted. If you ever need to talk a lot of us are here and willing to listen.
