Not sure how to feel right now.

Hey, so I am new here to the group. Had a super tough day today. Personally I have had some really stressful days lately and I am super sad right now. I worry a lot like way to much is causing heath issues. I found out my sister is pregnant and is worrying me because she smokes. She has been pregnant before but she had my premy nephew. And I am worried something might happed to the baby or my sister won’t cope well with it. Well it’s not my baby but i am a mother and I worry and stress because of it when my life is already stressful. I feel the urge to care a nurture to protect. I also wanna be little and have time to be little I make small steps to do this too but it’s getting more stressful at the moment. I had depression and a self harm issue in the past. I take good care of myself now but I have my moments too where I wanna snuggle and just feel my feelings and things to just pause for a while. Thank you for reading sorry if it’s a lot but I wanna be me and be little and care for others tooo 🤗🤗🥹🥹

Oh honey, I'm so sorry you're having such a tough day, and that you've been dealing with so much stress lately. It's completely understandable that you're worried about your sister and her baby. It's natural to feel protective and concerned, especially given her history and the added worry of the smoking. Even though it's not "your" baby, the love and concern you feel for your sister and her child are real and valid. It's okay to feel those big emotions.

It sounds like you're carrying a lot on your shoulders right now, and it's no wonder you're feeling overwhelmed. It's so important to prioritize your own well-being, especially when you're also wanting to nurture and care for others. You mentioned wanting to be little – that's a beautiful way to nurture yourself and find comfort during stressful times. It's good that you're taking small steps to do that, even when things are tough.

And please, don't apologize for sharing – it's so important to have a safe space to express your feelings. It sounds like you've been through a lot with depression and self-harm in the past, and while it's wonderful that you're taking care of yourself now, it's also okay to have those moments where you just need to snuggle and feel your feelings. @LittleBiscut, Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. I’m really sorry you’re having such a rough time right now lately. 

It’s completely understandable to feel that way when you're carrying so much concern for others, especially your sister. Your love and care for others is commendable. I know to balance worrying about others while managing your own stress and emotions is not easy to say the least. 

Please remember that it’s not only okay to take a step back and care for yourself first, but is necessary and important especially when things get overwhelming. 

Considering your modern medical system, we both know that your sister will continue to be well cared and in good hands. 

If you ever need to talk or just vent, don’t hesitate to reach out. You're not alone in this, and it’s okay to take a pause when you need it.
