AspieDaddy Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Hey all I hope this post finds you well? So im a new Daddy and and my Babygirl (wife) is very needy. After doing alot of research on here and elsewhere we are experimenting with using me to pacify her. She and I both agree that it brings such a huge amount of calm between us. She likes to do this a few times a day, duration varies on time available etc. But she has said it has calmed her mind and body like nothing before. At night she will easily sooth on me for over an hour whilst falling asleep. We are just trying to figure out the best positions in bed for her to be able to sooth on me and for us both to be coming to fall asleep and not have to worry about moving as she sometimes likes to go back on me after a whole of stopping. Any advice would be appreciated thankyou.
WizardofOSS Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Personally, I like to lay on my back, with her lying on her side, head on my chest (listens to my heartbeat...very soothing) and her arm over my belly. My arm rests on her back, which allows me to rub, scratch or just pat her back depending on soothing need.
Liamo Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 On your side spooning, you behind her, hold her tight. If laying on your right side wrap your left arm around her with your left thumb in her mouth used as a paci.

ohyeahmetoo Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 My little and I have a long distance relationship. We use WhatsApp or Telegram to communicate. I use guided imagery over a call, with or without video, to help her relax and even get to sleep. I am using the ideas from this thread to build on the scenarios I already use! Thank you!
