Liamo Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Hello everyone. I am planning a hiking trip in New Mexico the 2nd week of March. Would anyone be interested in joining? It could be a fun way to get to meet actual members here in a different setting. New Mexico is the land of enchantments, and in March it is the perfect weather. Not too hot.
MissNMTX Posted Thursday at 04:11 PM Report Posted Thursday at 04:11 PM As a person who lives here. March being perfect weather is debatable, but I do hope you enjoy your visit. What places will you be seeing?
DaddyABQ Posted Thursday at 04:42 PM Report Posted Thursday at 04:42 PM Whereabouts in New Mexico are you thinking said hike will take place?
Liamo Posted Thursday at 09:06 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 09:06 PM I have not decided yet. Last year I went to White sand national park, and I drove all the way to San Diego and back to Dallas. There are so many pretty areas I am open to suggestions. I am thinking of Chaco Canyon. https://www.nps.gov/chcu/planyourvisit/directions.htm Three years ago I did the Grand Canyon all the way to the bottom and back up in one swoop. It was gorgeous, but you need to be in tip top shape.
DaddyABQ Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Report Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Chaco Canyon is nice. I don't think I've been there since I was a teenager, so I can't give up any up-to-date impressions of the place, however.
