Liamo Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Hello everyone. I am planning a hiking trip in New Mexico the 2nd week of March. Would anyone be interested in joining? It could be a fun way to get to meet actual members here in a different setting. New Mexico is the land of enchantments, and in March it is the perfect weather. Not too hot. 1
MissNMTX Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 As a person who lives here. March being perfect weather is debatable, but I do hope you enjoy your visit. What places will you be seeing? 1
DaddyABQ Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Whereabouts in New Mexico are you thinking said hike will take place? 1
Liamo Posted January 23 Author Report Posted January 23 I have not decided yet. Last year I went to White sand national park, and I drove all the way to San Diego and back to Dallas. There are so many pretty areas I am open to suggestions. I am thinking of Chaco Canyon. https://www.nps.gov/chcu/planyourvisit/directions.htm Three years ago I did the Grand Canyon all the way to the bottom and back up in one swoop. It was gorgeous, but you need to be in tip top shape. 1
DaddyABQ Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Chaco Canyon is nice. I don't think I've been there since I was a teenager, so I can't give up any up-to-date impressions of the place, however.
