lilahthelittle Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 hii all i am in my last year of high school and with the stress I been having because of it I been regressing at school. at my school if you act or seem weard your would get picked on. i don't know what to do is there any thing I can do so I don't get bullyed
SoulEater Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 Hey Lilah, firstly I want to say that being different or weird is not something you should be bullied for, heck I’d rather be the shepherd than the sheep if that makes sense! now onto your actual question, you said yourself that the source of your issue is the stress, this can be combated in a couple different ways. 1- essential oils like Lavender have always helped me, during my school years and especially when studying for exams I would have essential oils for each subject, when the exam came round I would put a little of the essential oil on my wrist and the smell of it helped bring back thoughts etc of what I was studying, during this time I found that lavender was one that helped my stress levels. 2- maybe not so much this one but if you look into CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) there are many free sites that can support you on this however it would mean adding to your workload (hence my not so much this one) 3- what do you do to destress? Me I like music, if I get overwhelmed or stressed I will play music and that can pull me out of a situation in my head. You could look into grounding techniques with this one so that if you feel yourself drifting towards little space you could ground back to adult. Ultimately I wish you all the best in this final year, as stressful as it may seem now after it’s done I can guarantee you will look back on it and wonder why you were stressed, stay safe and take care soul 🦇

Liamo Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Report it your counselors. Report it to the administration. This is serious. Bullying is not accepted in any school district. If the administration does not act they become liable.
