spiritual-seeker Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 (edited) I just turned 56, entering a new stage in my life. Life can be seen as a series of cycles or stages, that correspond astrologically to: Moon - Mercury - Venus - Sun - Mars - Jupiter - Saturn There's scientific proof that about every 7 years all the cells in our bodies are completed replaced. Effectively you are a new you at least physically, every 7 years. There's several systems using this knowledge to create a map of our journey through life. The one I'm using goes like this: Moon 0-7, Mercury 7-14, Venus 14-21, Sun 21-42, Mars 42-56, Jupiter 56-70, Saturn 70-84 So I'm just leaving the influence of Mars and entering the sphere of benevolent Jupiter. A welcome change since Mars wasn't nice to me to say the least (Mars is in a bad configuration in my natal chart therefore it's hard to channel its positive energies into my life); moreover, Jupiter is my ruler planet since I'm a Sagittarius so I'm hopeful the next 14 years will be good, or at least better than my years under Mars. If any of you guys are between 56 and 70, would you mind telling me of your own experiences? How has life treated you after turning 56? Has it been better or worse than your previous 14 years (42-56) and why? (Or if you're within the cycles of Mars, Sun or Venus and want to chime in please be my guest) For those interested on delving deeper into this, here's links to the 2 systems on which I based my own version: https://www.institute4learning.com/2012/08/07/the-stages-of-life-according-to-rudolf-steiner/ https://www.gaia.com/article/seven-cycles-of-life Edited December 16, 2024 by spiritual-seeker Rewrote the whole thing. The original was too long and confusing
