The True Source of Love

Note: I initially wrote this as a Status in my profile. It was intended to be short but it ended being a long wall of text so I thought it would be better to share it here.

Not everyone will agree with what's said and that's fine. We all have our own journey and although we all go to the same destination we decide how we get there, on our own terms and time. If this message is found by a few people though and it resonates within then, then it will have served its purpose. You are loved, you are worthy.

The True Source of Love, Happiness and Peace.

Everyone wants to be loved, happy and at peace. And we all deserve that. However we all go looking for them at the wrong places, and suffer disappointment after disappointment, or at best enjoy a fleeting happiness, love and peace, only to eventually fall into despair again. If you "need" money, or status, or a fancy career to be happy, you will never be satisfied as there will always be more and more to achieve or have. If you need perfect family relationships and friendships and a world without conflicts to be at peace, it too will never happen. If you put your trust on another person to give you the love you crave and need, be ready to be disappointed sooner or later. Break up, cheating, divorce, unhappy marriages, death of your loved one. Here today gone tomorrow. As long as we go looking for love, peace and happiness on the external world, on external objects and other people, it will be a futile search. Where's then lasting, true and unconditional love, happiness and peace? Within yourself. It sounds a cliche but it is true. Only going deep into your own inner world you will find what you're looking for in the external world. Go back. Go back within, to your true nature, to the true love, happiness and peace within you. Remember, "the kingdom of heaven is within you" it's not out there, in the physical external world, neither in a distant future or in another dimension or a heavenly realm. It's right here and now, within you. It's waiting for you, patiently. When you experience some sense of peace in the external world, it's only a fleeting, faint reflection of your inner peace. When you have short moments of happiness in the external world, again it's only a tiny reflection of the everlasting happiness inside you. And when you're lucky enough to be loved by someone that person is only reflecting to you the true unconditional love that is already within you. So, which is more worthy of pursuing, the fleeting moments on the external world or the everlasting, true and unconditional peace, happiness and love that have always been there within you? Go back. Go within. Go home. Go deep into your true nature. Find yourself. That true self is the real you. You are Love itself. You are Happiness itself. You are Peace itself. It has always been you. Remember you. Go back to your true self. And be Peace itself again, be Happiness itself again, be Love again.

Shanti. Namaste.

This is beautiful 🤩 🤩

Completely makes sense to me. It's only when you learn to love yourself and understand what you need to feel fulfilled do you find what you need in life. Id say never accept less than what you deserve but realistically sometimes you need to do that to survive. ❤️ It's ok to survive and do what you have to as well.

Exceptionally well written and well said   I agree completely and could not add one thing to what you have explained here. Hopefully it resonates with many on this site.
