Petplay? Looking for shared experiences/advice

So, I am a little and I've know that for some time, but I am now questioning if I am a pet. It's always been a kink on the back of my mind and sometimes it used to come out every so often, but after meeting my Daddy those thoughts are very common now. So, first thing is how do I explore this kink/educate myself on it/learn aspects. Asking for pointers or experiences.

Out of all animals, I feel like I'm closest to a Deer or Bunny and I definitely want to explore that part of me. Issue is that I see most petplay topics centered around dogs or cats which is not what I feel suits me. I do like wearing collars, both with bells and like dog collars, but I think that's more just a possession/ownership general thing for me. On the deer aspect, I think that ties into primal play with me as well. Makes me feel like a helpless baby deer who can't walk being chased down by someone, something far stronger. Any good ways to learn about/explore being a pet deer/bunny? Anyone else within the less common petplay animals? Also I will absolutely communicate this to my Daddy, but any tips over how? I'm autistic and language is hard for me to convey sometimes lol

Ooh. I was going to say that there has been a few posts on pet play but completely understand what you mean that it is very different from the normal cat or puppy play... This is intriguing and hopefully people will have some advice for you but it does seem like it would be more prey play for you with animal instincts with it.

I'm into petplay and am a sheep. Us not puppy/kitten littles are certainly rare, but still valid.

My best advice I can give, is to just have fun with it! There is no right or wrong way to be a pet. Some of us like collars, but I personally don't.

Be aware that many bigs think this is only a submissive/humiliation kink. And while for many, it certainly can be, but not always.

As far as educational stuff goes, I think reading opinions on Reddit/Google is a good place to start. I don't have any pages saved, as I think following trends is boring, but I'd start there, if you're interested.

I'm definitely willing to answer other more specific questions, if you have them. ♡

After re-reading, it does sound like maybe you're more into preyplay. While I'm not into that personally, I'm still willing to help with more pet questions.

There's certainly a lot of, "Well you have to do it like this, or you're wrong." in every subculture, but that's a very soup-can way of life. I don't subscribe to that or recommend it.

You don't need collars or cages, to be a pet. Material stuff can certainly be fun to utilize, but we're all just playing pretend. So play how you feel most comfortable playing.

I, personally, mostly just have a mindset/storyline/fursona that I use, more than physical gear. I do have some gear, but I've also been a little lambie for over a decade now. So it's mostly stuff I've hoarded through the years, rather than meeting silly requirements.

But, if you're one of those that need help getting into playspace and want toys right away, to help you get into a certain mindset, that's equally fine too. Just remember that you're not competing with anyone, and to just have fun with it!
