princesselizabeth Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 I'm having a hard time finding ways to enter little space when I'm home visiting family. Usually I'd play dress up, use a paci, have a stuffie, color, etc., but now I'm in need of more subtle ways to enter little space. I want to have that serenity, just...less noticeably! Any suggestions?
LilJenn Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 I like things like those magic coloring pads with the clear marker that you color over the pictures and colors appear. They're small and tuck away inside an overnight bag or a purse. Ring Pops are good, because no one really thinks twice about lollipops, and they're kind of like a binkie. Mini stuffies, like the Tiny Beanie Babies or a Disney Tsum Tsum mini (I get mine at Target) are great for a stuffie you can hide in a bag. I keep Dumbo in my purse and pull him out when I need him.

Those are great ideas! I really love the ring pop idea, because I miss my paci the most. I'll definitely be giving these a try Thanks!
Guest Daddy's☆treasure Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 You could also try buying one of those adult colouring books. They are mostly patterns and things but are still loads of fun to colour! I also second LilJenn's idea of mini stuffies. The beanie ones are great! Depending on the type of phone you have you could also get some little apps like games and things. I have a few I like that are on iphone. The one's I have are Waldo, Flutter, Looney Tunes, Clouds & Sheep, Happy Jump etc.
Princess Joe Joe Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 Ohh, I have a adult coloring book! They are great, and when people ask why I still color I say it's for my anxiety. :3 hehe. Also, I find that really sweet smelling hand sanitizers and lotions are really great.
