Yes and it's misunderstood and judged so folks are scared even if they think it may be their thing.

Honestly it has been one of the best things in my life. It has and continues to heal me and gives me a way to connect and be close with Daddy.

Yeah, I personally would have preferred to have gotten therapy as a child and avoided needing littlespace as an adult, but it's certainly a nice form of therapy for me now as an adult. This is way better than chronic alcoholism or drug use any given day.

It's certainly helpful for me to cope. And for that, I agree that littlespace is one of the best aspects of my life.

Sometimes I worry about what the lasting effects of being chronically dependant of littlespace are, but then I remember that

A) I'm not hurting anybody

B ) I've seen non littles complain about adulting

So the only time I get frustrated with the DDLG community anymore, is with that LilTot group. I understand wanting a completely SFW spot, but trying to rename/reclaim a kink and harass age players is insane to me... particularly when you allow minors into your group.

Minors should be getting therapy, not be allowed to join a group that's kink-adjacent.

Honestly folks can feel how they feel and while I do have some grey areas in DDLG I really don't care anymore lol.

I know it spunds old but if they don't like it they wouldn't even know. I am not someone who goes up to random folks and aay I like to ageplay 

It isn't for all but I think if they saw the wholesome way most of us do this they might understand better. I mean I myself very much use it as therapy.

Minors being allowed is vare minimum. If a place can't keep minors put they kinda suck.

I had a stuffie Moose once! His name was Brownie! He was smol though, so not very good for normal snuggies... he was good at face snuggies though!

I regularly wear pigtails and decora/harajuku/kawaii outfits. So I'll often get side stares or asked if I'm going to a con. No, I'm just weird, lol.

I don't know anything about being a CG in this context, but by far the most rewarding part of my job is helping people develop into the best versions of themselves.  Not changing them into someone else, but helping them become more truly themselves by keeping the standards high but taking the fear away.  Watching the anxiety just dissolve.  Protecting, providing, guiding - building them up so that they understand that everything is going to be ok, and develop the confidence to be who they really are.

There are a lot of selfish me-needs that I would want out of this kind of relationship: the need to feel adored, admired, trusted, uncontrollably wanted.  But all of those feel like rewards for helping people.  Maybe that's not very dominant - am still learning about all this stuff.  But when I think about the kind of relationship that I would want, it's mutual acts of service.

Agreed. Folks are judgmental and unfortunately some people give DDLG q bad name. But it's ok!! We are all here living our best lives and that's what counts!!!

Haha I also wear some eccentric stuff so I think folks know to avoid me if they arnt accepting lol.

The beauty of it? As long as you arnt hurting anyone then you can pretty much go at this however you want!

People like to act like there is a "right" way for these relationships to function bit at the end of the day each one is just as unique as the person and often the trauma it is healing.

He was one of those mini beanie babies they'd give in happy meals...

His fate wasn't great though. He got left behind by accident one day. 😔
