ADVENT CALENDERS

Hi!

I'm one of those people that get really excited about Christmas, early.  I know! I know! It's not even Halloweeny time yet.  But I happen to be looking around in the Walmart app and went to the Christmas stuff.  

Anyway, to the point! I haven't had a Advent calender ever, that I can remember anyway and happen to find 2 I really like on the Walmart app.  One is Hello Kitty and the other is My Life As... (These are really neat dolls that I have a few of). Just thought I'd let ya'll know and wanted to ask,  Are there special traditions that you do every year? As a little? Do you usually have an advent calender?

Christmas is HUGE for us!

For advent calendars we've done everything from ones with individual teas, high end chocolates, Nightmare before Christmas figures, Lego, Whiskey samplers and more. We even make custom ones for our dogs and it is a tradition that we all come together, My Wife, Daddy, dogs and myself to open each day.

The other thing that is a tradition for us is Christmas stockings. I typically make them for everyone and then my Wife and Daddy make mine. I start as early as June finding things and they are VERY full and typically are about $150 per person. I have so much fun filling them and watching people be super excited as they open them.

Last but not least we do various Christmas light extravaganzas often driving up to 4 hours away. We do farms, drive through light shoes, walk through light shows, carriage rides and more.

For us Christmas is a month love celebration of family and fun 💖💖

@Little kaiyaStockings is one of my favorite things also! We also do the drive to sight see the Christmas lights. Our town is a historical/ tourist site so lots of people come up here.  There's usually a parade and different activities thru the whole month of Dec.  

This year I'm hoping to make my own Christmas cards, which would be a new tradition and also visiting the Angel Tree at Walmart.  But, all in all, I'm just really excited for the season itself! To me it just has a special, miraculous feel to it.

I love stockings and driving through Christmas lights - we have a huge park that sets it up every year and you just tune into the radio station and drive through as it plays music!! So much fun with hot coco
