Movie Night recommendations

Here you can post any recommendations for movie night, we started as anime, but are not limited by it. If its any cartoon or live adaption to a cartoon/anime its ok, otherwise we infringing on another club

I have an idea why don't we follow all of them, for example Studio Ghibli, Disney, Pixar and others as well. We can make days for watching anime movies and days for watching anime series to watch all the episodes. I think this is very fun.

I'm not a fan of that myself, the whole point of this back when willow started this was that there were already clubs for other media, and not anime specifically, that's why we exist to my knowledge.

Besides if we start diversifying especially this early on we're going to be muddying the waters of a club whose members already don't have the best attendance record to date.

that is a good point @LunaLilac , i want to be open to different ideas, but I do intend to continue with animes for now

either way I've got the list that I was taked with making it's got about 20 movies on it from recommendations so we're good for a while, but it's not a bad idea to stockpile more. Actually, what you could do is make it so applicants need to give three recommendations for movies to join, help you feel out how the taste of its members goes, and get new recommendations too.

Since there is already a list and that is good I want you to tell me about it before the viewing day, I said before my first language is not English so I will download the movie for the viewing date in my language.

I don't want to add to your burden, I can just download it or watch it with you. It's okay, I always download it to watch on my phone. My language is Arabic .

Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End is the one I would like to watch next Friday, however it is sub title only, is that alright for everyone?
Otherwise we need to look for another one to watch

Hey i was wondering of it was ok to submit a movie night request? ;w; there’s no rush if there’s a long queue, but i’ve been super curious about this old gainax OVA/movie ”appleseed” (the 1988 ver). Idk much about it but it’s a cyberpunk thing and the robot in it looks cool xD

I'm familiar with it, it was made by the same guy who did Gits. I'm mostly just picking at random on my list so there's hardly queue or anything. but yeah I'll try to track down a few links for it. It is a pretty short moview though, so i might want to find something to pair it with to cover a full length movie time.

I'm not really sure how one would do that, but it might be worth looking into

I maaaay have found something interesting that might pair well with appleseed.
