Phoenix78 Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 Does anyone else have a drawer or something that you never open and you keep like important or emotional items or like pictures, stuff you don't put out for show but keep to yourself in it? I am having to go through mine so I can pack it up to move but my gosh I forgot how emotional it is. Ive pulled out like 2 things and im already crying 1 2
WolfMoon2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 I have a mementos drawer filled with photos, postcards, leaflets, even receipts of everything from memorable holidays to mundane activities like shopping. I've got items such as birthday cards from family members as well as ex partners, also old books I would journal in. It can be quite depressing reminiscing sometimes over times in my life I've felt happier or reflections on darker periods, but I keep them all the same as evidence to myself that I am living a relatively comfortable, privileged life. It's a very human thing for us to retain keepsakes to remind us of these moments in our lives. 2
Princ3ss-Baby-Bear Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 I’ve got a box like that, but it’s a box of boxes because each box is a different place or person
Huggybear Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 My top left dwawer on my desk with a very old-timey lock on it. Im not extremely sensitive generally but thats a drawer that will get me there :).
Gentleman_Daddy Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 There are 2 items I always keep in my wallet, but in a back pocket and I never look at them.
MissNMTX Posted September 6, 2024 Report Posted September 6, 2024 I think everyone has those things they keep but never look at. If it were me, I think probably just move the whole thing without really looking at it.
lillizzie24 Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 I have a tote that I keep stuff in
