Capri Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 Hi littles!! I was wondering do you like to color childrens coloring books or the fancy adult coloring books that take time?? Also do you like to use crayons, colored pencils or markers more? I think I prefer the more complex coloring books since they take time but childrens coloring books are super fun of course! If you have any coloring book or art supplies reccomendations feel free to share 🖍 happy coloring!! 1 2
lillizzie24 Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 I prefer childrens but like adult 1s without super small spaces like disneys 1s. I like colored pencils and gel pens 1
CodeName: Trouble Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 I'm more of a doodler than a colorerererer, so sketchbooks are my preference! Sometimes I use kids coloring books but I often take a sharpie to them and edit the lines to make the pictures funny or more appealing to me, adding extra background content and changing the clothes or expressions can be very amusing. I like adult coloring books that have abstract symmetric patterns and find them rather meditative and helpful when traveling, but other types don't really appeal much. I almost exclusively use colored pencils when coloring but I do love crayons - The smell, texture, and look is just crazy nostalgic. I am obsessed with keeping the crayon points perfect though so I mostly just collect them 🖍️ 🙃 1
babydollmira Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 I have many coloring books! They vary in definition but I do often prefer more detailed colorings~ I used to use color pencils and crayons often, but now I use markers the most! They’re faster and brighter usually:3 1
Princ3ss-Baby-Bear Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 Depends on headspace tbh, I personally love my adorable swearing creatures colouring book as rude but cute and a mixture of simple and complex so covers both, I use crayons in headspace and pencils out, best place to find loads of options is amazon as can even get Ddlg ones on there ☺️ 1
browneyedgirl Posted August 28, 2024 Report Posted August 28, 2024 I prefer the adult colouring books with lots of tiny spaces to colour in because I like to use use glittery gel pens so it's easier to colour in small spaces. My favourite are animal colouring books. Land animals, ocean creatures, butterflies, etc. Flowers and mandala style art are fun to. 1 1
James Caron Posted August 28, 2024 Report Posted August 28, 2024 It depends on my mood! Sometimes I enjoy the simplicity and nostalgia of children’s coloring books, while other times, I like the detailed, fancy adult coloring books that let me take my time and focus on intricate designs. Both have their own charm! 2
OuO Alexibaaa Posted September 18, 2024 Report Posted September 18, 2024 I adore crayons! > u < The way they imperfectly smudge the paper with their color, is like no other for me! Coloring pencils are boring while markers can stain. I either just do blank sheets of white paper and doodle my own doodles, or I like to use the L.O.L. Surprise activity + coloring books. They're my absolute favorite set of activity books! The dolls are so cute, much fashion! And sometimes they come with their own set of crayons and stickers! ♡ 1
dldaddysprincess Posted September 19, 2024 Report Posted September 19, 2024 I've found a coloring book that's a mix of both and I love it! 1
LittleMisses Posted September 19, 2024 Report Posted September 19, 2024 I like both! I do like littler coloring books because they can be done in one sitting with less fear of coloring outside the lines. I really struggle with coloring outside the lines so doing the adult ones are tiring and more stress than they should be but they also have better pictures and are soooo pretty. So it’s hard and I use any coloring tool. I do like pencils because they are easier if you make a mistake 1
LittleRabbitBunny Posted September 24, 2024 Report Posted September 24, 2024 I like both 😸 I like to use markers for simple coloring books and colored pencils for the complex ones, haha. I like to use crayons too when I draw! 1
jujubean Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 I love color by number ones the Disney ones are the best with markers or pencils. They keep me out of my head and I can just enjoy coloring! I also enjoy crayons with regular children coloring books really just depends on my mood. Either way I could color for hours! 2
kuuchan Posted November 12, 2024 Report Posted November 12, 2024 I have more kiddie coloring books, but i think i have one adult coloring book haha! I definitely prefer the kids coloring books though~ And i prefer to color with colored pencils but i have a bunch of different markers too ^^
sammar Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 I have loved coloring books since I was little in elementary school with colored crayons I don't know I think specialized crayons need professionals now I don't have any but my little sister does so we color together From time to time I used to draw in middle school, but now I don’t know how to draw well. I only help my brothers with school drawing a little. Yes, I am thinking of buying my own tools and starting to learn. 1
DaddysCuddleBug Posted December 6, 2024 Report Posted December 6, 2024 For me I really like the more simple coloring books that are geared towards adults like the Hygge coloring books or the CocoWyo ones. I just like having bigger blocks of spaces to color rather than the small spaces. I used to use markers for the outlines and colored pencils for the insides but I press down really hard unintentionally so just recently I’ve been using my computers tablet mode and pen to download coloring pages and color it on an art software and that has been soo satisfying and much easier on my hand! There is something so satisfying though about coloring in a coloring book though! 1
