LittlePrincess24 Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 Hey so this is embarrassing so just 🐻 with me.. I am a little who also likes abdl. I started to wear pullups/diapers around the start of 2022? But nor all the time, usually like once every couple months as I lived with family (common struggle for us). Then I moved into my own house at the start of 2023, which was great so i could wear whenever i wanted to 😊. I wouldn’t say I’m a 24/7 abdl, but since i moved in i would usually wear during the day; which would depend if i was working or not😞. But i do always have a pull-up on at night. it kinda just became a routine.. come home get changed, put on a romper or fluffy pyjamas or both and watch/play something. So i basically only wear at night. A couple of times I’ve just not been feeling it and wear ‘big girl’ stuff. Now.. this is now the 2nd time this has happened so I’m a bit like ‘wth is happening’… and I have embarrassingly wet the bed (of course it’s during the times I don’t have a pull-up on 🙂) so I’m just wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem.? And if so what they did, and if i should be worried or whatever. idk if it’s also got to do with the fact i genuinely do get scared living by myself, ESPECIALLY when it’s dark or nighttime. So when I have something on it’s just better as I can stay where I am and not get murdered by a demon in my pitch black hallway anytime i need the toilet 🙃. Like am i just so used to that, that’s why this is happening or.? But the 2 accidents weren’t like back to back, i would say like a month or 2 apart.? Idk if that information helps… but yeah lol.. thanks for reading 😅❤️any information/advice is appreciated
Huggybear Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 (edited) Hmmm... Now this is going to be an interesting topic into the human psyche. I am in no way expert here so im intriqued to see what other people answer. I do know that we are prone to conditioning. The ol' pavlov and his doggos and what not. Ive read alot about triggering physical reactions like clicker training etc. and that stuff is real and works. I guess my question is, when you do wear a diaper, do you let yourself go aswell freely or do you still use the bathroom? If the answer is nope, and you use the bathroom, then I somehow doubt they are connected. If you do, then it could be a dream that you dont remember where youre wearing diapers, or it could be the material in your bedsheet (have you perhaps gotten new ones?) that creates a similar feel? Just brainstorming here :). Likelier cause might be a natural regression that happens in your subconcious during sleep. Add being a bit afraid of the new living conditions and you might be succumbing even deeper than normal. I would prepare for this potentially happening again by maybe getting insulating mattress covers, but I wouldnt think this is "dangerous". As far as solutions go, I got nothing short of therapy maybe. Maybe a professional could dig something out :). I hope someone on the forum has experience / expertice! Until then, propably smart to potty before bedtime ^^. Edited August 21, 2024 by Huggybear 1
EllieTheHauntedStarship Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 When I was in a super stressful living conditions I had no bladder control. When I was able to leave I got it all back. That's my experience. I echo what huggybear said and also maybe you should check with a doctor incase you have an infections or something. Sometimes they don't hurt and the only indication is loss of bladder control. 1 1
Little kaiya Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 My Daddy typically diapers me for bed every night but sometimes doesn't as I may have gotten home very late or I haven't been feeling it. There are times I've wet when diapered and yes a few times when I haven't been diapered. It can happen, not a super big deal, easiest 5hing is to just always have a mattress protector on the bed. 1 1
blingsing Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 I think it might be a reaction to your new situation. A symptom of your stress. As you get used to your new living situation it should improve. I would also suggest a mattress protector. Just for your comfort if you do have an accident. Maybe also leave the diapers alone for a bit. Try to retrain yourself, if you're worried about it. 1

I don’t think I could talk to someone about it and try to explain to them that I like to wear diapers.. and basically be a toddler 🙈 and i usually do go potty before bedtime.. is natural regression when I sleep not a bit weird.? I don’t really think too much that it’s ‘dangerous’, just a bit embarrassing.. idk

I didn’t know infections could cause something like that.. but I don’t think i would really be brave enough to tell a doctor about it all 1

Huggybear Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 Hey again! I dont feel like anything above is weird. These are normal human reactions even outside of ABDL or other kinks. Also, the doctor suggestion was actually very valid. Asymptomatic UTI's are surprisingly common and this totally slipped from my mind, I have seen this condition in older people quite regularly (I work as a personal care assistant). Could easily happen to anyone. On top of that UTI's are much more common in women than men. Keep an eye on it. Also, anything you say to a doctor is completely confidential so when its about health, never hesitate. Kudos to Starship-Ellie for that one! The regression part; I think its also highly common that towards the sleepy small hours of the night, little side tends to get strong. I wouldnt find it weird at all if that affects sleep, dreams and body behaviour :). Again , I have no first hand experience on this, but to me that would make perfect sense. Best of luck! 1
