Little rooms

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this is already somewhere on the forum so please forgive me if it is. But, I'm curious how many of you have little rooms, or dedicated spaces. I never really thought I needed one, especially since I'm a middle I considered it more a luxury than a need.

When I was in my trip I stayed in my little niece's room(she is almost 7) and while I'm not a fan of a twin bed. Other parts got me thinking. I'm not a Barbie or a toy girl, but I did love the printed sheets and the stuffies and a good monogrammed or personalized item. It made we think having a space to have all your things in ... regardless of what they were, and having that be okay was probably very useful. I'm just thinking. Thoughts are welcome.

I would love to have a space just for little me unfortunately we have no room for it

I'm almost always in little/middle space, so anywhere I live would have that spill over. However, I'm also a pet, and for that I'd like a dedicated space.

@ElleTheHauntedSpaceship. I guess that's why I like the idea of a room. Less chance of "spillover". Trying to find ways to blend in all in gets hard and honestly a bit confusing sometimes. A space would make it easier for me to indulge.... I think.

I have a little room!

Having my own space, even within my own home, is super super important to me. I will always need my own room for my things, somewhere I can go to escape the world and other people... Daddy has his own room too! A place he can game, play instruments, and laugh with his friends without worrying about being too loud. It just so happens my room doubles as my little cave 🥰 Fairy lights, Dino blankets, my gaming set up, stuffies, trinkets, toys and a collection of Bulbasaur's that isn't nearly large enough. Me and Daddy do share a bed that's in my room, but it is still my room and full of only my things. One day If we ever have the extra room I'd like to have my little room separate from the bedroom, but for now I'm pretty happy with how our space is set up.

Spillover isn't something I really worry about, I keep my littlest things tucked away safely from un-consenting eyes but the rest of my home is no stranger to my eclectic taste. I have giant stuffies that live on the couch and I keep coloring supplies or other little toys on the coffee table 24/7. I'm not worried about these things at all, if someone has a problem with what brings me joy in my own home then they don't need to be there.

i don’t have one but i definitely want one in the future >< being able to have a space that’s safe and decorated specifically for little me is important to me and i think it would allow me to immerse myself in little space more often!

At the moment, we live in a small apartment.  So basically my room is the bedroom and Daddy's room is the living room.  When we first got together, we had a house and it had an extra room. Daddy let us have that.  Next year,(after living here for 10+years, we are moving, finally, to a new house.  Daddy wants enough room for each to have our own room and possibly a room for me and my little stuff.  And also use as my crafty room.

Most things are in my room.  But I do take them with me in the other room or when we go on adventures.  I do like having my own space.  I think it really makes a difference, at least for me it does.

My whole house feels like an actual toddler lives here, but nope, it's just all my stuff. I can understand why some littles don't want room spillover, but I spend a lot of time in littlespace. So having just one room would feel suffocating to me.

Edit;

I'd still like to have a dedicated room for arts, crafts, games, and toys though.

So basically a play room, but stuff wouldn't be confined to just that room. I'd still move stuff around as needed, so mostly just a larger item/messy storage play room.

My bedroom is where i keep all my little gear, tucked away in a box (i don't have much at the moment), but it's where i feel the most comfy being little uwu

I've been daydreaming about having one of those princess tents but since i'm not "out" with my age regression, i feel it would be a bit difficult to manage, since i do have visitors come here every so often y_y (and i live in a fairly small apartment.) That's why i keep my little gear hidden too.

But i'd love nothing more than to go all out with making my bedroom more like a baby/kiddie room!

My Daddy set me up a little "nest" that is just for me and my little stuff. It's really nice to have my own private space to go and to keep my stuffies and other toys. I don't have a lot stuff to have much spillover, but I like to have a place where things go, so that part is awesome.
