Hi, lovely people around here!!

I'm so excited every time she talks about us in her videos. I'm writing here because I want to share opinions about this video:

For me... dark littles feel too hardcore for me. Anyone can explain me what is the enjoyable part of this dynamic?

Flinch inspired Daddies killed me. I could have never expected that. What about you?

I can't watch Evie's videos without going into subspace, she's just so great at what she does, she holds a strange power over me hahaha

Jokes aside, sometimes 'dark littles' as she calls it come from traumatic childhood experiences, some people get joy in being able to play the submissive role in a usually negative experience because they feel like they have the control to stop it at any moment, compared to real life negative experiences where you don't have any control over what happens.

It could be that, or just the fact that some people enjoy CNC, it has its unexplainable charm. Maybe getting to do certain activities deemed as wrong or evil allows people to explore a hidden part of themselves.

I always enjoy Evie's videos. Though her standard intro always sounds a bit nasally and there for cringe to me.

Her videos always seem to be well researched and open minded. I definitely identified various aspects of myself and what I enjoy in the descriptions. I adore "To Kill a Mockingbird" so I actually do understand Atticus as a "Daddy" type. Honestly though, I never would have gone there myself and I hope I can "unsee" it next time I read the book.

The only problem I see is, it's still putting labels on people. In this case, it's for purposes on learning and there doesn't seem to be any real harm done. So much of what's considered "dark" or "negative" can be  exploration , understanding what you true limits are, playing out a fantasy, only to find out you really don't like it at all, or as was mentioned before and attempt at controlling a narrative for healing purposes.

As long as it's between same, consenting adults with communication trust and dare I say, even a bit of love or affection. As long as your not harming yourself, someone else,  or any actual child, and your breaking no laws we really should just let people have their private lives

Gosh that sounding like a rant, sorry. I guess I have a bit of a problem having to put a label on everything. People are more human than that.

Oh I understand dark littles... I call it consent comfort cuz it's like watching a horror movie: some people just love it-the exciting scary bloody horror of it in some way but they can 1. Leave the 🍿 is very important for this area IMHO, 2. Consent to the material and 3. The end result is comfort like grabbing your partner or walking out feeling happy about your real life. Lots and lots of people love that consented comfort that is on the darkside. CNC+ especially and unofficially in traumatic youth littles gives new outcomes to hard things like praise or safe space after. Might not be your cup of tea but think of it as consented comfort in their own way IMHO. Gonna go check out this Evie more tysm!
