Wanting a new phone soon

So been thinking for a while of buying a new phone , my Samsung S21 has been holding up good but lately I've noticed that the battery has declined a lot and barely holds up without charging throughout the day but I have no idea what I should buy . Should I continue to samung , switch to iPhone or are there some other good alternatives to these two that i should try and buy .

I like iPhones but do what you want and can afford

Apple is the mother of all evil as far as I am concerned, at least since Jobs died. No way I will be buying into that brand again, ever, period.

I mainly ever used android or Samsung and I found both of those are really good on space and cost. I know iPhone can be affordable depending and it has cool features (never had one though). You can go to best buy and see sample phone on display that help me decide when I get a new phone

I quite like my Sony Xperia XZ2 android phone.  It's a bit old, but hey, so am I 🤣

 They have some newer models which are quite nice, but pricey.
