What does you username mean/say about you?

Long story but here goes. I was originally on here as Mittens. Mittens came from an old RP of mine. My character name was Mitskuna. The person I was rping with was like "I'll call you mittens!" to make my name cuter.. So I was like ok.. I decided to use it more, and then I used it here. Someone mistook it for actual mittens like, gloves. And they started to call me gloves. Well I deleted that account and made this account. I told them it was a secret no one was supposed to know it was me, so instead of mittens or gloves, they called me earmuffs. So I changed my name to earmuffs from what it was on this account.

I like it when they are short and have more than one meaning. I think of mine as short for Nymphette which describes my little/middle side very well and I love magical creatures like fairies and nymphs... and also I am very sexual hahaha so a bit of a nympho

Hmm meaning of my username....

 

In general, I love the name luna, i love staring at the moon when it is dusk. I feel more alive when it is night haha

 

And rawr, which most say is dinosuar for 'I love you' but i see it a general feeling for me... Meaning I will say rawr when bored or when a setting becomes awkward occasionally

 

But if using the dinosuar meaning for rawr, it would show that I am say 'I love you moon' XD which I do love the moon haha

It's a nick name that's very close to my real name that always seems to evolve at some point.  Separate groups of friends in high school, undergrad, the Army, and even my second undergrad all eventually tagged me as 'Ringo' at one point or another.

 

I most associate it with Johnny Ringo from the 1993 movie Tombstone.  We, the character and I, used to share a lot of personality traits.  That doesn't hold as true any more but it's still the association and image that pops into mind when someone asks about my nickname.

 

The 77 is my birth year.

Great thread, it s very interesting to see some of the reasons behind one's name.

 

I chose mine because of the Little Prince book, obviously... in the book he visits a lot of different "planets" before ending up on Earth... and he has a special, unique Rose back on his planet...  He realizes how special and rare she is while on his journey and has to come back... 

 

To me, these planets represent the women I ve met and shared intimacy with but there is always a special Rose... a special someone... that owns my heart, soul and dedication, no matter how far apart we might be. 

 

Dark because... oh well because I have to hide this DDLG side, even from the BDSM world (wich I do not hide IRL).

 

PS - Faust IS an amazing play and Opera.
