When I first got here it was tough to keep up it moved so fast.

I'm at work so I can't get away with a lot on here right now but might stop by later.

Not sure how to get the new generation of members into actually chatting with each other.

I think the answer is to stick it on discord - I don't know but apparently it's were all the cool kids go to smoke and make out

It used to pop off I am up for it to again . Just when everyone has a free minute on here just get on chat and try chatting it will be slow but possible

The special event chat for Christmas was great.. but when we tried it for Easter it was slow again.. 

Maybe it's not going so well because we're on different time zones and then a thread is easier to read and catch up on..

Christmas and Halloween were really good.

We tried an official discord when the original chat died but very few people joined. I personally don't like discord so I won't be going there.

I miss yahoo chat, it worked flawlessly. Telegram actually works alright too.

Tbh think it’s because most of the original members that used to chat on the live chat aren’t here anymore 🤷‍♀️ tbh think other than summer time the site is pretty dead 😂

Yeah I know there’s some of you that do, but think it’s genuinely because the original chaotic conversationalists have left it’s died down because as shadow said it did use to be chaotic to try and read messages 😂😂 think it’s why I spent most times in there at night rather than during the day was a little bit less chaotic but still lively 😂😂

Maybe consider doing a question of the day? Get people excited and talking. Also there are a ton of random holidays national coffee day, dog appreciation day etc. Use those to get people into the chat! There was a post made about the coloring contest, use the same format and ask people to respond in the chat.

We have a resident poster that keeps us up on those days like it dolphin day today but it's not a bad idea

Chat has been popping just great past week or two, but finding topics is a bit spontaneous ^^.
