Wiiiicked easy breakfast hash, kinda the kitchen sink of breakfasts if you will. Feel free to use whatever you have on hand! Basics below:

-Potatoes! Diced/cubed nice and small so they all cook evenly. I use red potatoes but if all ya got are some yellow or white, go for it! (Leave the skins on) if you’re just doing a single serving, 1 potato a bit smaller than ur fist should do. The main component in the hash is the potatoes, so you want a good amt.Β

-Veggies! Bell peppers are the most common. But you can add diced tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, squash, mushrooms, asparagus, whatever you have on hand. I’d only recommend staying away from leafy greens like spinach and kale, as well as watery veg like celery or carrots. Anything else tho? Chop it up and throw it in there!!

-MEAT! I know, there’s lots of non meat eaters here, so skip this if ya want. But seriously, any meat here…except mayyybe fish, but seriously, chicken bacon sausage pork, whatever. Chop it up and throw it in there!

-Egg! Personally, I like it about over medium. The yolk a tad soft but no longer runny. But you do you, boo. You want sunny side up? Do it. Scrambled? Whisk away! Fried? Let it cook, baby!

-Seasoning!!! Seriously, y’all. Season yer dang food!! Salt is not your enemy if done right and it enhances the flavor of other things. Don’t be afraid to use and experiment with your spices! I make my own sausage seasoning mix, so that’s what I use. But here’s the long and short of cooking: Give your food the SHAFT.Β SaltΒ HeatΒ AcidΒ FatΒ Time

its all about balance. 😸
