New England Clam ChowderΒ

Β

*6 small cans of cream of potato soup
*4 cans of diced clams (i like Snows brand)
*1 stick of butter (salted or unsalted)
*1 bunch of small green onions/scallions
*1 quart of half and half

*salt and pepper to taste

-empty soup and clams into crockpot, scraping the soup cans clean.

-fill your empty soupΒ cans with half and half and add that to the crockpot, 4 should do it, but feel free to adjust if you would like a thicker or thinner chowderΒ

Thicker chowder = less half and halfΒ

thinner= more half and half.

-Season liberally with salt and pepper, stir everything together forΒ aΒ smooth consistency and let cook on high for 2-2.5 hrs or low for 3-4. Top with fresh scallions and serve with oyster crackers!Β

This is great, thanks for sharing! I have some leftover potato soup that I've been wanting ideas for protein to add in it. I shall give this recipe a tryΒ πŸ‘

It came out great! Chowder is something I didn't have growing up, so I don't have a recipe for it. I added in corn to the soup and had avocado toastΒ πŸ˜‹Β Thanks!Β
