TOO Active in the Community?

Sooo this post follows after a comment on neediness, can you sense a theme? 🤣

Okay, but serious question, my anxiety is riding hard right now and I am experiencing some serious self doubt. I have almost two weeks in here now (yay! I love it) but I feel like I comment and post too much for everyone’s liking.

Now before you answer, just know it doesn’t come from a place of me thinking I’m so important that everyone pays attention to what I do on here. But I am genuinely concerned/curious that I am TOO active…like I know people interpret things differently…but am I too chattery? Does it annoy people when one person comments on lots of things and takes interest and wants to participate?

Like I said, it’s been a high anxiety day and I’m just concerned that, like in most social situations I find myself in, it irritates people to see my name, to get yet another notification and see, “oh her again.”

I have ADD and some neurodivergence, my brain is literally ALWAYS running and this has been a huge outlet for me in addition to my other hobbies- but I don’t want to ever do anything that diminishes anyone else’s experience here and if one person capitalizing on the platform, chiming in and being interactive impedes someone’s enjoyment of it, I don’t ever want to do that. (I know, I’m also a people pleaser, can you tell?) but seriously. Just curious.

I for one and a sure lots of people would agree would encourage people to post lots as interacting is very important to me it helps me learn more everyday and if it helps more power to ya

Genuine activity is good 😅 I think the same thing sometimes but this is the place for that. I wish more people were more active all over   It’s a great community with some cool peeps. You’re fine ❤️ explore respond make topics ❤️

I have not gotten obnoxious vibes from you  It's nice to see your name pop up with what you share! When I first joined here, I was liking so much stuff I would break the "daily quota of giving likes" 🤣 and had to wait the next day LOL keep having fun!

Okay, I literally LOL-ed at that. I didn’t even know that was a thing, so I feel better now. 😸 and thank youuuuu! 💜 it’s just so nice to finally find a place with like minded peeps and some amazing content.

Oof yeah, I for one don’t have enough mental bandwidth to spam anyone, let alone multiple people with the same junk or a variant thereof. Lol besides, that doesn’t lead to engagement, just creates noise and my brain is noisy enough. I do enjoy adding things like this tho- interactions with people that I might otherwise never get to meet! Or understand, or empathize with or develop connections and meaningful friendships with. Like theres something about this community of people here that’s so different than anywhere on the internet and I love it! Im just grateful to be a part (albeit new!) of it and I hope others can find their place here too. “They say it takes a village…” I dunno who they are and I’ve been to plenty of villages, but this one’s pretty dang awesome. 😁

True story, we increased the limit so a certain someone could keep liking things till their heart was content.

We love quality interactions, it's what this place was designed for.
