All my fishing buddies have kids so we fish and they they go home😂😂

Hmmm maybe ask if they want to take there kids an make it a family camping trip with fishing on the side, maybe it could be fun I dunno just a suggestion,

Have you ever done ice fishing? That requires a tent to be build my on the ice so it’s partially camping only during ur fishing hours..

hmm how many hours does one typically fish for? Is it catch an release or are you fishing to eat them? (Is that to many questions?)

Also.. umm.. If I’m talking to much just let me know.

You are definitely not talking too much. You have made some great suggestions for tents and places and activities to maybe meet people.

It's nice to see the club active and people sharing ideas and knowledge.

All those activities make the city sound like an awesome place, then I think city and I'll stay in my woods lol

I also agree a mix of camping and glamping is the way to go. I love an open fire but I'm bringing a lighter and my torch. I have neither the energy nor inclination to play with a fire bow or any other primitive methods to get the fire going. Fire starters maybe but no rubbing sticks or any of that for the time being at least.

Not sure if anyone put this out there yet.  I skimmed the responses quickly and may have missed it.

Here is a gear reviewer who has a lot of good advice on gear that is usually very affordable.  And he also let's you know what gear to avoid.

City is an awesome place to live “sometimes or near the city is better or even just visiting let’s say for 4months out of the year just when they have those activities up an you made your friends an people just to socialize but the you can go back to your home in the woods the the remainder times, who knows, I’m surprised when non city’s don’t have these places to meet up at community centers even if you have to drive out to it once a week so socialize with new people,

Also rubbing sticks together to make fire? Are we in the Girl Scouts or survival camp lol yet lighter or starter wood for sure, unless are we going back to primitive methods an building an foraging for food and setting up traps to hunt for our own food also? So yeah I think if we don’t have to we shouldn’t especially for a short camping trip, but sure if I need to outrun zombies an live in the woods on my own an keep lighters for emergency sure il go back to old school since it’s more about survival then comfort at that point perhaps,

i don’t think coming prepared is glamping but to each his own,

but that sure was funny to read, thank you.

(hopefully that’s not in anyways offensive or sounding like a smartass or wtvr)

I saw a guy do that once. Based off his expression I don't recommend it, even to win a bet.

Unless you mean gummy worms, then I'll eat them with you in your massive tent.
