Can any of you suggest a good tent, that's inexpensive? I want to go camping but probably will be alone.  Something really easy to set up, and take down.  Not huge but not small either.  I won't be doing any deep forest stuff but wood still like it to be roomy and comfortable.

Personally I love the Colman dark rest tents, there pop up an then snaps together, very easy to set up by yourself, the 6 person tent is roomy can fit a queen size air mattress in it and it weighs about 15lbs, it has a lot of inner pockets and helps keep your inside tent cool and it’s dark inside incase you want to sleep during day or put a movie on inside it. Plus it has a clear roof sections so you can see the stars or see when the rain pitter platters ontop, if you around 5’6 or below you should be able to stand inside it. And it costs around $80-$100 on Walmart plus you can opt for their warranty for 2-4 years between $8-15 dollars and then if anything happens they refund you the cost of your tent or they cover the cost of returning it to be repaired or you can even opt for any new tent within the same price you paid.
some come with a cover that offers an outside screen so you can place your shoes or coolers outside within the net wall just outside your tent incase u don’t want to keep it inside your tent.

That big one sounds really neat! I'm about 5'4"so I probably could stand up.  Seeing the rain and stars would be fantastic! If I don't go to far, I would like something like that I think.  The littler ones, would be great if I have to hike a little.  Hiking tho, at the moment is not in the cards for me, at least right now anyway.  But hopefully soon!

They have bigger tents like a 8-10 person tent they actually look like a little home with zippered doors to separate each room so you can have one room for playing an one room that leads to outside that’s for eating let’s say and another room for ur bedroom it fits approximately 3 queen size airbeds an im not talking only single high airbeds I usually use double high with a boarder even, anyways those are also pop up but they can cost you about $130-$160 depends on when you get them and they also have a doggy doors which you can zip up a tunnel to and lead to the outside if you want to make a crawl space, then they also have tents you can connect together. Anyways I’m trailing off topic here sorry. Okay back to this bigger tent okay so it’s also a pop up but weight about 20lbs an although it says you can set it up under 2 minutes by yourself it I find I needed some help but what’s great is when your camping it’s east to find a local camper to help you set up your tent, otherwise if you really do it yourself then it would take likely longer then 5minutes I would think, the poles are pre attached an pop in place like a 3D puzzle or bendy legos, and it’s 7 feet tall so you can easily even stand on your bed also, and the traveling case comes with wheels attached, it’s not ideal if your going backpacking an want to pack ur tent on your backpack since it’s heavier and it needs a flat ground otherwise your floor an tent will be lopsided, also it doesn’t have a see through roof but it has a lot of windows an an awning an it’s either square or rectangle with a triangle roof an looks like a little home 🏠 it’s pretty cute. You can also find it on Coleman site or Walmart.

I don’t think it’s cheating but if you want to try without an air mattress you should look into getting a moon mat it’s very light weight an thin and you can easily fold it or roll it up and it’s super comfortable, it’s made of memory foam and you can easily put a sleeping bag ontop of it and it would still be super comfy, and they have long tents like the Cole ment dark rest tent that says it’s for 6 people but I use usually with myself a one person is 10 feet north south east an west it’s a square on the bottom and standing up it’s only about 6 feet like my best friend would stand an his head used to just brush the top in the middle before we added the mattress, truthfully you only need an air mattress if the ground is going to be damp or icy, otherwise we usually just use self inflatable Cushions or moon mats and we throw pillows ab blankets ontop of it instead of using sleeping bags during the summer, I found it easier to crawl into an being a few stuffies an you won’t even need pillows but they also have longer tents  but there shorter in height or they have cube tents that are also pop up an connect to other cubes like if you brought friends or wanted it bigger those pop ups you just shake open an throw in the air an poof it’s open an ready you just have to weigh it down with a rock or ur stuff inside so it doesn’t fly away, those cubes cost a little more like $190 or $220 each that’s the cheapest iv seen the cubes, im not sure the brand though, also if you want to go old school you can get a teepee tent there super tall and the floor is circular and some teepees have the top like a chimmany so you can even have a fire in the center in some teepees,

Here is a link for moon mats www.moonmats.com just to get an idea what I’m talking about.

I also think those children pvc mats they have at kindergarten or preschools or at some play grounds near slides those also might be firmer and those connect and piece together like puzzle pieces so you can organize it better and even choose multiple colors an designs and they might also be cheaper, I'm not sure how comfy they would be but i would imagine it’s better then laying on the ground with rocks an twigs.

also-

Il show the photos for tents showing the difference on the 6 and 10 person tents.

i forgot to include that earlier.

Above it shows 2 people to set up the 10 person in under 2 minutes (they both have sky light roofs

then below is a 6 person which is great one person tent-3AE88AA4-5EF6-4065-A48E-33D1388483C8.thumb.jpeg.49095ccc6b649be5db0635b0756927ea.jpeg

Ask your friends you might just be surprised to learn they enjoy camping or glamping, I prefer glamping these days over camping, like I said earlier I get a double high mattress so if I’m 5’6 then the mattress comes upto about my knee in height, and I usually lay out a rug or mat inside the tent also, then have hammock chair swings outside and regular camping pop up chairs inside an outside my tent with little tables and I even bring a projector to put on a movie on the back of the tent or inside the tent, i deck it out haha

Hmm you can try a team building exercise with coworkers also or with community members like perhaps from a church or community center your apart of or for instance a community garden even and you can suggest something like day camping and forging or just day camping & bbq or even just to start something like visiting public parks for picnics

I’m not sure where beanville is located but im realky close to nyc/Boston and down there they have weekly free movie nights in the parks and local beaches starting in the afternoon which starts with food tents an people making picnics an activities tents like at fairs and people setting up there places with blankets or camping chairs then the movies starts at sundown unless it rains,

also most public parks have early afternoon foraging walking tours & early morning animal walking tours that spot out specific species depends which tour you choose, or even just lazy morning strolls around the park talking about local history or perhaps some exercise like yoga in the park also

or you can see if your community center has a sports team you can join or arts an craft days or any other events you perhaps like that they offer or that you can perhaps ask if to start.

which helps you meet new people if you don’t have anyone to sign up with.

that can help make you friends in your area, or you can invite you family which can be great friends with you also.

or umm maybe see who’s on here who lives near beanville or or or umm 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree as someone with severe social anxiety its hard to make friends in my community. Get hurt less if I stay to myself. But camping I got daddy and kids to camp with

You can camp with fishing buddies, camping by the lake is beautiful especially if you go in the evening an start fishing early morning before sunrise.

sorry I didn’t understand earlier, I wasn’t sure if you were joking or being serious I’m not so great at hints or like social cues or even hidden jokes. Also.. umm.. If I’m talking to much just let me know.
