Babydoll90 Posted February 20, 2024 Report Posted February 20, 2024 My son(10) found my pacifiers and kept asking me what I have so many pacifiers for…. And my other son(7) was in my room as well. I was at a loss so I told them they’re for my stuffed animals. Now my 10 year old wants one for his stuffed bear. 🤦🏻♀️ what would yall have done or have you done in this situation? 1
Guest BrooklynBurro Posted February 20, 2024 Report Posted February 20, 2024 I think you came up with a great answer.
blingsing Posted February 21, 2024 Report Posted February 21, 2024 Mine was found not by my child but by my mother and I said it was to stop me grinding my teeth in my sleep 2
krazygirl Posted March 11, 2024 Report Posted March 11, 2024 I've been lucky. My kids haven't found any of my stuff. Then again I installed a hidden lock that needs a special chip to open to get to my "play drawer" where I put everything when I wake up or not using it. 1
Baby Manda Posted March 18, 2024 Report Posted March 18, 2024 I told my 10, now 11 year old daughter that my pacifier is to help with sleep apnea 🤷♀️😆 she believes me. It works. I also asked her not to talk about it with other people outside our home because it's a private health matter. - I don't have sleep apnea, but the paci does help me sleep soooo much better and I would be horrified if anyone else found out. This line of reasoning worked when she saw the kegel balls in bathroom drawer, too. - those are to help mommy's muscles around her bottom. When you get older and have babies your muscle get tired and you need to exercise them. These help me exercise them. I just had them ready to go for later. It's a private/personal health matter I don't tell people about my body, but not something I'm embarrassed about. I remember to put this away, you remember to stay out of my drawers. Hope this helps. 2
