Does anyone here celebrate the lunar new year or spring festival?

Do you have any traditions or things you look forward to? 🥮🧧

I have done in the past - or TeT holiday as it's referred to in Viet Nam. Lucky money in red envelopes and a good feed with family and friends.

One year I was touring and I had 3 new years effectively (4 if I include Cambodia). I celebrated regular new years in Bangkok, Tet in Saigon and then back to Thailand for Songkran. Of the 3 Songkran is the most fun, traditionally it should be a small amount of ceremonial water splashed on your hands and shoulders (symbolizing cleansing for the new year). In reality its a huge water fight with water balloons and super soakers for 3 - 5 days. A lot of fun but .......not a time to take electronics out of the house and riding anywhere on a motorbike was a 50/50......
