BuddhaPuppy Posted January 8, 2024 Report Posted January 8, 2024 I recently attended a gather of littles in person. I was watching them interact with their stuffies and coloring books and I was wondering what would be a good gift to a little. Stuffies, cloths/outfits and coloring books are the easy ones. What are some of the more special or unique gifts you could give a little? 1
Kali Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 Agree that it's a very personal thing. Gigi's comment on stickers had me bouncing in my chair. I used to collect them... I'd LOVE a huge collection of scratch n sniffs puffy stickers!! 😃 2
Kali Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 OMG, YES!!! And trading sticker sheets with friends. Shinnnnnnny stickers. 🥰💕 Loved the googly eyed stickers too! I could never get the sheet covers to stick right with em though. 🥺 1
Married_Lg Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 The scratch art books are something I would always appreciate. Or beads for bracelet making (assuming I could do it with my caregiver… HALF THE GIFT IS MY CG’S TIME!!). something small could be like bubble gum or even something that’s precious to my CG (like a thing from their hobby or something that makes them think of me) but experience dates probably will always win out. Even just a picnic thought out and planned by them. 1 1
Kittyara207 Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 Going to a zoo but also going with someone to an animal shelter not to adopt but donate time socializing with the animals. Going berry/flower picking. But gifts?? Little me also luvs lip gloss, nail polish, stickers and water paints, finger paints. Things that are pinkish. But just having someone sit down and listen to me tell my wild stories or ideas to. Or them to tell me fun stories. Funny books or joke books but be aware you will probably hear me read them all off to you cause you have never heard them you might think you have but NOPE! You haven't. Sitting and drawing/coloring with them is awesome. A big umbrella perfect for twirling. Some of everyone's overlap somewhat but each of us have our own perfect. 3
BuddhaPuppy Posted January 9, 2024 Author Report Posted January 9, 2024 Very good ideas.....I have forgotten about the sticker books and scratch and sniff book....small is good and I like that. I am hearing ....spend time with the little and listen to them. The gift is not the central focus. 1 3
Little kaiya Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 For Christmas my Daddy gave me some My Little Pony wooden floor puzzles, books and cartoon videos. All of the gifts make me happy but what makes them amazing is the ability to do the puzzles while sitting in my Daddy's lap. Listen to the stories at bedtime when laying curled up on His chest and watching the cartoons while snuggled into His arms. The items themselves are nice and fun but as an adult I could buy themself. What makes them special is my Daddy knowing what I like AND then being present as I enjoy them while He watches or reads or helps and smiles in happiness watching me play freely. 3
bigkidagain Posted January 14, 2024 Report Posted January 14, 2024 Those seen good idea. I'm new little/middle talkative person. I was one of those kids who have millions questions .I was a cheap kid too I was never into experience stuff. I always use to window show, and cut pictures out the newspaper when we had newspapers as a wishlist of things I want to save up for. But if my mentor or friends remember something I said was a awesome feeling.
MissNMTX Posted January 14, 2024 Report Posted January 14, 2024 I love these thread so much! Just because I love the idea of putting thought into something. I think that really is the thing, the thought. As everyone has said it's going to depend on your little and the dynamic you've built. What works for one really might not do much for another. Even things like stickers or coloring books. It all has to be to her taste. Maybe have her start a specific wishlist on Amazon? I have one and it doesn't have a ton of stuff, but a variety of things that make my inner teenage princess happy.
Jenya Posted February 17, 2024 Report Posted February 17, 2024 I'm searching the net for what he wants. I threw one away, and ordered the second one myself. I would very much like to give it to you.

Regardless if it is tangible or not. 1
DDCool Posted February 18, 2024 Report Posted February 18, 2024 Absolutely there is not one answer here. A tailored, thoughtful, personal gift is the thing every time. Doesn't need to cost a fortune, absolutely not, it is the thought and effort that matters. Anything else is like picking up the last bunch of half dead flowers from the garage forecourt as an afterthought 😁
MotoDaddy Posted February 20, 2024 Report Posted February 20, 2024 With my ex, we were in a liquidator store and we turned the corner to see a huge 6ft stuffed bear on the wall. Needless to say I walked home with a teddy bear almost as tall as I was. Most of the time she would cuddle with it while I was away. She made sure to spray it with my cologne. Another one could be onesies. Or really big hoodies. I noticed she felt more little with an oversized hoodie (especially my own long-sleeved anything), or the onesies she found online.
BuddhaPuppy Posted February 23, 2024 Author Report Posted February 23, 2024 Thank you all for chiming in. This has been an interesting topic for me. I ended up taking her out for dinner in her little outfit. We will be spending some quality time and that is the point in the end. BP 1
