Guest MyDaddyMyWorld Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 I don't mean "little" in that sense, hehe. But just small things that happen, that to the person saying or doing them, it's kind of insignificant, or they just think it's "something and nothing" Last night I was talking to my daddy about getting his house sorted out in time for when me and my boy move there next year. Just things like decorating the bedrooms, hopefully getting a new kitchen fitted etc. Then he said "and I am going to get the living room carpeted , so you can lay at my feet the way that you like to. Can't have you laying on the hard wooden floor...." I just kind of stopped in my tracks. I was staring at him with this warm, clenching ache in my tummy. Just that he would put that right up there as a thing that needed doing, along with the really obvious stuff. I don't think he realises what that one simple gesture means to me. To his practical, no nonsense mind, it was just something that needs doing to make me happy and content. To me....wow. Can't even put it into words. It really is those seemingly small, everyday things that mean the whole world. 2
