This could be something that you are very excited about, or something that relates to this week's theme of "Friendship and Kindness." If you are unfamiliar with the concept of Show and Tell, it is a popular activity in American schools - each child often brings in a special item to school that they want to share with the rest of the class, and it was expected that the student held up the item, or passed it around to their classmates (share), and they would tell a story about it (tell). For example, when I was about 11, in my theater class we were to bring in an object that you had had for a long time - since you were a baby. I brought in my baby blanket and told the story of how my mother received it during the baby shower, so I had the blanket before I was even born! (I am 31 now, and I still have that blanket!) Another student brought in a necklace, someone else brought in a book. So, this week, please share something with us that relates to friends, friendship, kindness, etc! Vampiress Posted October 11, 2023 Report Posted October 11, 2023 Here is my show and tell for the week! I recently bought this Fluppy Dog stuffie, I've been wanting one for years! Fluppy Dogs are even older than me, they're from the 80s! I want to get them all, the blue and pink ones are my favorite. I think they're really unique with how their fur is made from yarn. There was also a cartoon, book, and other stuff for the Fluppy Dogs. I'll post a video if anyone wants to watch Fluppy Dogs. I figure this could fit the theme because a new stuffie is always a new friend for cuddling! 3 1

SnowflakePrincess Posted October 12, 2023 Report Posted October 12, 2023 I know this doesn't really relate to this week's topic, but recently my Daddy got me the Axolotl Build a Bear stuffie! I named her Nesquik and put a strawberry scent in her, so she smells nice every time I cuddle her. I really appreciated the act of kindness from my Daddy because he didn't have to buy it for me, but he chose to anyway! 1

She knew I didn’t have a lot of things for middle space and so for my birthday she surprised me with two whole packages of art stuff and this sweet bunny I named Babette. I call her Babs for short and I snuggle her against my chest every night to go to sleep. Not only do I love Babs because she is my sweetest stuffy companion, but every time I look at her I will always be reminded of how kind, sweet, and generous my first little middle friend is and how much I adore her. 🩵💙💜🩷 3 1

Redbottompunkin Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 Even though this isn’t a stuffy, it does pertain to friendship for me. Several months ago, my best and I took a road trip and stopped in Franklin, TN. While there we walked around a quaint lil village filled with the cutest shops. When we walked into one particular shop, we instantly fell in love with the aroma. My friend and I asked what that scent was and the woman led us to the candle section which only contained one of the candles we were searching for. We both wanted one. I told her she could have it. My best friend looked at me and questioned why, I told her because I loved seeing her happy. She looked at me and said. “Well, I love seeing you happy too” and we both laughed but I didn’t get it, if she couldn’t have it neither would I and she felt the same exact way. I had planned on returning and buying it for her, when she wasn’t looking, but that never happened because when I did someone else had already purchased it. At the end of our trip, I found a lil bag with a note in my suitcase that read “thanks for always bringing so much love, joy, and light into my life, here’s a little for you, I love you!”. When I look at, use it, and smell the candle now Im reminded of our friendship and how special our friendship is and how very special she is to me! 2
