Today I had a bad fall. I've injured ny shoulder, elbow and ribs. I live with my Mum. (Actual mother). She has always just accepted my middle, we don't talk about it. Just sometimes I like childish things and that's OK. She even speaks to me differently on those days. I don't think she is aware she is doing it.

Tonight she brought me up to bed. Had to help undress me. Tucked me in and later brought me up my dinner.

The second I was hurt I regressed and she just went along with it.

Is she doing this instinctively or do you think she knows?

If she's anything like my mom (actual mom as well) then it might just be instinctual if this is how you've nearly always been.
I've always  been more Middle/Little, even before I knew about age regression and such. I'm 31, and 2 years ago she picked up a tiny pink stuffed horse plush for me because she "thought of me" when she saw it!
When I had to go to the dentist last year I called her after, crying, and she also instinctively took care of me then too. Might just be the mothering of her child as she's always known you!

Probably, I suppose I am just hyper aware of it at the moment. And yes, it's  how have always been . Mine brings me home a surprise every time she goes to the shops. 🥰

We are both very lucky to have that acceptance and love in our lives

We are! While I don't have the best relationship with my mom now, I am grateful that she at least doesn't make me feel odd in this regard!

Well, it shows there's love there. So things can change. I'm always falling out with my father. We're too similar.

Unfortunately she's showing more and more racist and other horrible opinions so I don't think I can reconcile with her. :(

Oh, I'm sorry Penny. Racism isn't something that rears it's head here (Ireland) much. We of course have a multicultural society. Most of the black people here are Nigerian. Particularly in the last 20 years. I can be corrected here, but most of us just work and live together. It was tough at the start because of cultural differences created misunderstandings but now we are in the second generation, nearly 3rd. We have got to know our neighbours and coworkers and school mates. So for the majority of society It's not acceptable to voice those opinions if you have them.

But I know in the states, its a different story. And is a very charged conversation.

I hope that one day the situation changes for you. That the love of her daughter is more valuable than expressing hateful comments.
